We really loved the stay. Initially we booked a non Ac room , but the owner offered us AC room for less amount has it was available. The room was fantastic , it had a really big balcony with a great view. The owner was really nice , she helped us with everything.

We loved our stay in Ella. This is just a short walk from the Main Street and has great views from the rooms. Our room was extra spacious and very comfortable

Very quiet area with easy access from the noisy center. The owners are friendly, they live on the same floor, but there are 2 entrances possible (from inside or from the terrace - still in construction but access possible). The room was very big and brand new, with small cosy corner with armchairs, huge and super confy bed, clean and big bathroom and a small terrace.

“Great place, tucked just off but super close to the main road”

Great location in Ella, yes up a steep little hill but absolutely fine - 5min walk. Host was lovely, provided water (120 rupees) at the accommodation which was a great touch. Lovely balcony for a chill in the morning. Room was clean and in good condition, toiletries provided (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap). Air con all worked well. All in all a great stay.

“Weird owner/manager”

Large, nicely decorated, clean, comfortable room. Location is central but you need to climb very steep road about 400m. Our driver didnt go up so we had to walk up with luggages.

This is written with mixed feelings; overall, everything is good, location sublime, lovely balcony, great and spacious room, the cleanest room I have had after traveling for 4 weeks in Sri Lanka. But - I’m almost 100% that a prior guest had dragged in bed bugs 😳 not the owners fault. Only found bed bug nymphs on the couch not the bed. Owner was extremely fair and only charged the one night we slept there (we checked out because of it). So this place is a WIN if they eliminate the bed bugs. Check bed and couch for bed bugs at night before you go to sleep (when they are most active and out).

“Perfectly”

location about 5 minutes walk from the center. very hospitable owner, helped us every time we asked for help. The location also has a laundry and dryer, for a fee. Here we had the cleanest location in Sri Lanka. Quiet, separate exit to the balcony as well as exit to the enormous balcony on the 1st floor.

superb place value for the money and very clean.

The property was newly renovated and of very high standards, especially compared to other options and given the price. The hosts showed us great hospitality during our stay. The location is very closely the Main Street, it is however a uphill walk, about 20-25m altitude gain from the Main Street.

The accommodation is basic but great value for money. We appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in the ropm and the family arranged transport for us for the next destination. We also made use of the laundry service which was great. WiFi was also good!

The family is very nice, you have a fridge in the room, the room is big. Confortable bed. For the price it was perfect, there is no AC but honestly in Ella it’s ok because it’s cooler than other places in Sri Lanka !

The place was very clean, and the hosts were truly kind. Even when we had to end our stay earlier than planned, they handled it with a smile and even gave us a refund. The location is central and very convenient. Great value for the price — highly recommended

“Biggest cockroach ever seen”

We slip with a light because we see the biggest cockroach in our life, plus a lot ants and mosquitoes. Second day we wash with cold water. There is not even evening light in the room, not flexible shower. Constraction going on and baby screen since 6 am. I share window view picture with you… really go somewhere else

“Great place in Ella”

The room was very clean and nice. In good location although it might be difficult to get there in a car. There was a hairdryer and a kettle + tea and coffee. The owner was really nice. Very nice place. I highly recommend it.

“Comfortable convenience”
