“Perfect jungle escape”

The rooms here are beautiful, the view is incredible (even from the shower) and it was so comfortable. Also the family running this hotel are very kind, we could not have enjoyed our stay more. It was the perfect place to explore Ella from.

“Tidy, welcoming and friendly”

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights here during our stay in Ella and it was magical. When we arrived the host and her daughter welcomed us in as we sat with a cup of tea asking us about our time in Sri Lanka so far and giving us advice on what to do during our stay. The breakfast had lots of lovely fruit and toast with jam as well as some egg hoppers, very delicious. It is a very good location close to 9arch bridge trail and also a 15 minute walk from the Ella rock trail start point - as well as being close to town but not too noisy. The room was very clean had a comfy bed with a duvet and the nicest view from our balcony in the morning. We also had a kettle with tea and coffee and lots of toiletries for us to use and a mini fridge with beers and water at a very reasonable price. Overall would defo recommend.

Delightful family-run hotel with really spacious and comfortable rooms. Beautiful views from the balcony of the surrounding mountains and jungle. Excellent location, as close to the centre of Ella, but tucked away enough that you aren't bothered by the noise of the town. There is also an excellent laundry service 100 metres up the road.

“We loved it!”

The property was set inside a jungle village, yet within a short walk of the town’s main street. There were amazing birds and animals and the sound of the jungle all around us. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the premises were clean and comfortable.

Such a beautiful almost treehouse style hotel. Really enjoyed Sri Lankan Hoppers served at breakfast and found the location perfect (however would not suggest if you have mobility issues due to large hill) . The hosts were super helpful in arranging transport for us throughout our entire trip also which was really helpful!

Location excellent - just off main road 5 minute walk to centre but so quiet. Kasun and family really take care of their guests. Picked me up from the train station, heped with transport, answered all my questions! The room was bigger than expected with a lovely view of the trees and hills. I enjoyed sitting on the sofa or on the balcony bean bags and reading and relaxing.

“Perfection”

The location was perfect. Walking distance to Ella town centre but still in a quiet secluded spot where you didn't feel in the middle of the busy town. The cabin had a lovely balcony - we spent a lot of time sitting on the beanbags enjoying the view. The room had everything we needed including toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very kind and were able to transport us to the train station. Regarding other reviews about accessing the cabin by a small bridge etc, this was not a problem at all and very normal for the area and worth the view from the balcony. Please do not let that put you off booking.

The owners were super lovely and helpful, helped us with transportation from Ahangama and again to Colombo Airport. Went above and beyond to make our stay easy, comfortable and convenient. The daily brekky was really yum as well!

“Luxury tree house”

Dreamy spot high up in the trees. A luxury tree house.

Good location, quiet but not far from many sights and shops/restaurants. Room was spacious and clean with nice balcony.

Overall the cabin was nice, with a comfy bed and a great view from both the main room and the bathroom. A birthday cake was provided for us which was really appreciated.

“Quiet stay near centre with jungle view and great hosts!”

Supernice spacious cabin on a sidestreet of the mainstreet, so near the center, shops and restaurants, but in a quiet street. And the rooms have a beautiful jungle-view! And Kasun, his wife and Deshan are SUPERkind, they help you with everything and they make an awesome breakfast ❤️

Fantastic stay. Lovely owners, made us a tea on arrival. Great location, 5min walk to main street but very quiet. Comfy bed and hot shower.

While the main roads in Ella are becoming a kind of tourist Disneyland and loosing the local spirit, this place is a piece of original heaven. We are so lucky to choose it! I really do reccomend!

“Amazing views and fantastic location”

Room was great and the views were fantastic. We really loved the big windows and the bean bags on the balcony. Good breakfast. Really friendly and helpful owners. They organised taxis and tuktuks for us too. Location was handy too- 5 min walk into the town.
