The hotel rooms were very comfortable and had a lovely balcony. It was also very peaceful yet only a 5 minute walk to all the action of this great town.

Ella Soul is a great hotel if you’re looking to be close to the action in Ella town centre. The room was very clean and a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The staff are all very attentive and the breakfast was delicious!

Really nice place to stay, quite and away from the main street but only a few minutes walk. Good comfortable rooms with a great dinner area on the 3rd floor (best & cheapest cocktails in town) Friendly staff

The staff were kind and helpful, and posted some clothes I left behind to my next hotel. The upstairs restaurant has an amazing view and is a great place to relax - the breakfast is also great!

“Perfect for a visit to Ella.”
A very friendly small hotel in the middle of Ella with an easy walk down into town. The staff were lovely and the rooftop bar and restaurant were lovely. The room was very modern and comfortable and we were sad to only have one night here.

Medium sized hotel a few minutes stroll from the noisy strip that's the main road through town. Lovely very clean room with balcony, nice decor and big comfortable bed with mosquito net. Complimentary tea/coffee. Air conditioning and fan worked well. Bathroom/shower - fine although it took some time for the hot water to reach the room. We had to ask which way to turn the shower lever for hot water. We changed rooms as we had 2 back to back bookings. We were moved from the 2nd to the 1st floor - a good result for us because there is noise from the restaurant, on the top floor, early when they set up for breakfast. That being said, the restaurant has fabulous views, and looking out to Ella Rock - you can imagine how beautiful this place must have been in years gone by. Its still lovely now but commercialised, lots of tourists need accommodating. And - the breakfast is excellent, would highly recommend the avocado on beetroot 'mash' with wholemeal toast (huge and delicious). Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Many good restaurants within a few minutes walk.

“Best restaurant in Sri Lanka with rooftop views!”
Beautiful rooms and bathroom. Excellent value for money. The food at the rooftop restaurant was fantastic. This is off the main drag (so quiet & peaceful) but still an easy 200m walk.
