“Exceeded expectations in every way”

The breakfast was outstanding, the host was taking requests for the time you wanted it and gave many choices for breakfast. The host was just outstanding in every way - arranged multiple lifts for us, also did many lifts herself, gave us endless recommendations, was super super friendly and accommodating. Anything we needed, the host was ready to help. I can't recommend this stay enough. The location is also great because it is a short walk from the main road but it means you have a stunning view without the noise disruption. It is a short walk from Little Adam's Peak and the 9 arch bridge!

“Brilliant stay with the friendliest host in Sri Lanka. Beautiful room overlooking the jungle.”

Wonderful stay in a beautifully comfortable room overlooking the jungle. Breakfast every morning on the balcony was a special treat. The best thing about this stay was meeting Priyanga, who could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She did an incredible job of sorting transport on the biggest public holiday of the year and always with her enormous smile and good nature. Her place is a short distance out of Ella, moderate walk or easy tuk tuk ride but worth it to leave the noise and madness of downtown Ella. Highly recommended.

“Super Host !!!!”

Priyana is the most beautiful host, she was so attentive to anything we needed. Her home made breakfast are delicious and different every morning. The views from the balcony are so nice and relaxing. The room is very spacious, has the basic and was clean. The location is 20 minutes walking distance to main street in town. But only a short 5 mins walk there are a few restaurants options, our favourite was the restaurant from The Ella Flower Resort, was so good and not expensive at all, if you go during the day you have the most beautiful views of the little Adam’s Pick while you enjoy your meal or a coffee from their terrace! Thanks again Priyana we hope to be back one day 🙏 ( when Gym isn’t there anymore😅)

“A wonderful experience with a minor inconvenience.”

The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, with powerful air conditioning that was easy to work. The staff were very welcoming and kind throughout our stay, and the owner brought us an amazing breakfast on the balcony consisting of a variety of foods, including coconut rotti, toast, pancakes, a range of fruits and a tasty drink of fruit juice. We had a lovely stay in Ella Silloam would highly recommend it!

“Fantastic stay - incredible owner.”

The hotel is run by a lovely lady, who makes the most incredible breakfast which changed every morning we stayed. I found the room to be large, clean, comfortable and had good AC. The view out to the jungle is so nice too. She always asked if we needed anything or had any feedback for her. As noted in the profile there is a gym above that closes at 9pm the noise during the day didn’t bother us. It’s about 1km to the city but there’s food places along the way, even a roti shop right next door so no need to make the walk all the time. Otherwise a tuktuk up or down should be about 500. The owner also organised the best waterfall adventure out, she works with guides so definitely worth enquiring.

“Superb stay.”

The room was lovely with great air con and was spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were excellent and they were brought to the room so we could eat on the balcony with a wonderful view. Priyanga was a wonderful host, She was really friendly and super helpful.

Priyanga the owner was so lovely helpful and kind. The room was lage with a king sized bed good aircon and strong wifi. Breakfast was severed on the balcony with a nice out look to the hills. We had a different breakfast each day for our 3 day stay and it was all delicious. It is a 10 min walk into the main Ella town, but there are shops and restaurants along the way. Priyanga's sister runs traditional cooking classes next door in an outdoor kitchen she is great and the food excellent, we would definitely recommend cooking with Sadamali.

“Do not trust”

nothing, the owner simply canceled our reservation the very same day of our arrival. What is more, he asked us to cancel ourselves, that would have made us pay the penalty too. Of course we didn't do and solved with Booking. Do not trust.

The best hotel we’ve ever stayed in! The room was great, clean and lots of space. The view from the balcony was great & eating breakfast on the balcony was a nice touch. It’s in a good location, away from the busy loud centre and 20 min walk to the nine arches & little adams peak. Priyanga was the most amazing host, a very intelligent and kind woman. She sorted our laundry, getting a scooter, gave us suggestions for places to go. She also owns the gym above so we got 50% off which was great, it was clean & had all of the equipment. As if she hadn’t done enough she also drove us half way to Yala & arranged a taxi for us. An amazing woman and place to stay. We are very grateful and would recommend for everyone to stay here!! Thank you for having us & for being so kind :)

“Wonderful host!”

Priyanga was an excellent host and she was so kind, couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was nice and delivered to our room so we could eat it on our balcony and enjoy the view and the birds. Priyanga provided a taxi service for us to the train station and to the Tea Factory. Her English was very good which helped a lot. Everything in the room was clean and the bed and bedding were of a good quality. We loved our stay.

The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was good. The place was clean and all amenities provided for. The best was Priyanga (the host). She was super friendly and such an amazing woman. For this alone, I will book here again. Great stay!

“Excellent homestay experience given with warm hospitality.”

The views were stunning and peaceful. You could view the Nine Arch Bridge trail . Breakfast was served on the balcony. We stayed three days and each day was a different style Sri Lankan breakfast. All freshly prepared by Priyanga the host. Priyanga was an excellent host always full of smiles and welcoming. She gave good advice about what to see and how to get there and was always reachable on WhatsApp anytime. You could walk to Nine Arch bridge and little Adam's peak from here. Town was a bit further but walkable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a homely stay.

The lady that runs this place is lovely , really nice and very helpful , so I feel bad saying it but this place needs some love , it's a bit rundown and doesn't really look like the photos . It's not bad , but it's not worth the price that we paid

Lovely family run accommodation. Very comfortable large bed and hot showers. Breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the forest were a highlight. Very close to the paths for Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge and only a short tuk tuk ride to the centre of Ella.
