“Surrounded by nature and peaceful. A delight”

The location is wonderful, 10-15 minute walk to Ella and the property is in a peaceful oasis surrounded by nature. The breakfast was a highlight, lots of delicious, fresh options provided by the host. The host is also very attentive and helpful and clearly looks after the property very well.

It really is a secret paradise in Ella! Tucked away from the main road, Ella Secret Paradise has two lovely rooms with en suites and a wonderful dining area outside, where you can look out over the jungle and listen to all the birds. We even saw porcupines one evening! Nalin, our host, was incredibly welcoming and hardworking, providing us with recommendations of things to do, organising transport, and serving delicious breakfast. He also managed to do our 6 kilos of laundry in less than 48 hours! We would all like to thank him and his family for our stay.

The surroundings and location are amazing. Close to the center but still in the nature, it’s great. It’s very clean. The owner is amazing, very welcoming and super professional. The food is the best we had in our Sri Lanka trip. It’s a must do if you’re in Ella

The room is one of two, attached to the owners house. It is clean and compact. The bed was comfortable for me, and I slept well.

Everything !!! This was a real find and we would recommend it highly to anyone wanting a ‘get away from it all’ experience but then also be a 5 min Tuktuk ride from the hustle and bustle of Ella town. We were welcomed with a fab smoothy drink and it just carried on being fab! The owner can’t help enough - checking you have all the information, making suggestions and helping anyway he can. The bed has to be one of the best we have stayed in, coupled with a very clean and spacious room. The breakfast exceeded itself and it kept us going for the day. Thank you for looking after us , especially helping with my ‘cold’ symptoms and we would highly recommend this accommodation!!

Great place to stay, loved how it was within walking distance of Ella, but still the surroundings are very quiet and peacefull. Host is very kind, breakfast is great!

Lovely host. Very friendly. The place is in a little secluded pocket of vegetation tucked away from the chaotic parts of Ella. The room is basic - there is no a/c but weather is much cooler in the hills - but clean. And it’s peaceful. But the things that set it apart were the food - which was substantial and delicious - and the friendly cat who was excellent company.

Great location, love the beautiful nature views from the room. This place is a gem. Fantastic breakfast- loved the fruits, egg hoppers, banana pancakes, buffalo curd, and coconut rotti. Nalin the host is super hospitable and helpful with all our requests and suggestions. He helped arranged a tuk tuk to Diyaluma falls and we enjoyed it very much.

“Relaxing stay in natural surroundings with nearby amenities”

It’s quiet location elevated in trees yet with great views from its balcony. The host was amazing and catered for our every need creating fine quality breakfasts and arranging Tuk Tuks into town and tea plantation nearby. Definitely come back again some day.

The breakfast was soooo good! All the rooms in Ella have a bit of moisture due to the climate It takes about 10 min walking to town (either a little path or next to the street) which wasn’t an issue for us at all

Nalin the host is extremely welcoming and is more than happy to accommodate all your needs. The place itself is in a great spot not far from town and the train station. It’s got some great views and really feels like you’re in the jungle. The room was super clean and fresh + it looked great. The breakfast was very good and I really enjoyed my stay.
