The place is under construction and the neighbouring hotel is dumping their garbage closeby so the stench is unbearable

Lovely location situated above the town, with a gorgeous view. The staff were really helpful, organised drivers for us, and kindly upgraded us to a room with the terrace view! Breakfast was great.

The view from my balcony was amazing, the room was spacious and had everything I needed. It was sadly rather wet during my stay and the evenings quite chilly but there was a blanket stashed away in the wardrobe. Staff were friendly, there was a lot of food for breakfast, which was just brought out without ordering (sadly most of which I couldn't eat due to allergies) they were able to do me an omelette though which was very good and the fruit and fresh papaya juice was delicious.

Amazing terrass and comfortable bed. Pillows too big for my liking. Simple but enough breakfast. Suuuuper nice staff!!!! Good location and quite noise free despite nearby popular Cafe Chill.

The rooms, view and location were great! Breakfast was really good and was slightly different every day which we liked. Staff were brilliant and made a real effort to help where they could. As the property is on a very steep hill, they even helped drive our tuktuk up and park it so that we didn’t have to. Sampath made an exceptional effort on the day of one of our birthdays and made us a private breakfast on the roof top along with a birthday cake. He even told us some history of Ella.

“Lovely staff, but tricky location for less abled visitors”

The staff were very friendly and helpful with some issues. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty and very generous.

Friendly welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Very good view and a little way off the main road so it's not so loud but close enough to easily find a place for dinner. There's a steep walk up a hill to get to the property but it's worth it.

Good location if you can manage the steep hill that goes up to the hotel.

I liked the hotel because of the view, but they gave me a room on the ground floor and there was no view. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful.

“Phenomenal view”

I had a lovely stay at Rawana Den Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the room was neat and clean, and the view from the property was absolutely phenomenal—truly one of the highlights. Breakfast was local (by choice) and very generous, almost too much! While the abundance is kind, a more moderate portion would help reduce food waste.

After a long drive we found out the room was situated in a place where the car cannot be reached. Pls dont travel with babies/ elderly people. U have to climb up the steep hill and its very dangerous. By the time u reached there u are so exhausted. I thought I would get a heart attack. Staff were friendly helped with our bags. Breakfast was ok not too sure about how clean it is. We were given expired milk powder for our tea. Room floor was too noisy. We left in the morning and came in the evening. We were so tired to climb up at the end of the day and it really made our stay uncomfortable. This accomodation is good for a fit / young hikers.

The view of Ella Rock and the close proximity to town, but far enough to not be too noisy from the town The size of room, having a fridge and somewhere to sit were all a plus for our comfort

The breakfast was nice and tasty. The view from our balcony was amazing, it’s up a very steep hill but just out the busy strip but a 2 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants.

We had a garden room which had a lovely view. The hotel is a little way from the town centre so it is quiet, but only a few minutes walk. The manager and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, and the manager was able to sort out a driver for our onward journey. Breakfast was plentiful. There was a kettle in our room so we could make drinks anytime. It was a pleasant place to stay for a few days.
