“Ideal spot for exploring Ella”
We had a great 2 night stay at Ella moon rock. The rooms were very clean, comfy bed and a modern bathroom with amenities. The breakfast was one of the best of our 1 month stay in Sri Lanka, great quality and delicious. The host was the friendliest we have met too! He helped organise tuk tuk lifts, and our clothes washing, he even prepared us water and cookies for the ride home. Also the locations is just perfect for a short walk into town. Amazing ! 🤩

“We had an amazing stay at Ella Moon Rock”
We had a great stay at Ella Moon Rock. The room was spacious and very clean. Obey the Owner was very helpful, attentive and always available. He cooked a fabulous breakfast, the best we had in Sri Lanka. He also assisted with transport to our next destination and our laundry The room is located not far from the main road but a nice quiet area.

“Great stay with Obey, would recommend!”
Obey is an excellent host providing high quality rooms in a good location far enough away from the main street to be relaxing but not so far that it's inconvenient - it's a short walk to the main street and it's a little closer to little Adam's peak and the nine arch bridge walks. Obey is very attentive and does a very nice breakfast. You can also get your laundry done quickly while you stay. There are some very nice restaurants and cafes around the hotel as well. Plenty of towels was an added benefit.

Our stay at Ella Moon Rock was truly exceptional. The apartment was excellent, clean, comfortable and perfectly located for exploring Ella just a 10mins walk from the train station. Obey was genuinely kind, helpful and always available. The communication via WhatsApp was smooth and consistent, which made everything incredibly easy and stress-free. The homemade local breakfast was outstanding and they even prepared snacks for us to take during our daily activities.. such a thoughtful touch. They also arranged our transfer to the next destination at a very very reasonable price. They even handled our check-out while we were away, which shows the level of trust and organization. Without a doubt, this was our best experience in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended

“Perfect stay in Ella”
Lovely clean spacious room. Really close to bars and restaurants in Ella . Excellent breakfast. Mr Obey was so helpful and kind. He organised a day trip for us and a taxi for our onward journey. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Ella.

Great hosts. They gave us both umbrellas as we headed out because there was a chance of rain and they came in very handy! The room was well equipped including a mosquito repellent plug. They also provided a great Tuktuk driver for our stay in Ella and the breakfast was huge and very tasty!
