Pleasant host, does not speak much, but you get everything you need and want. Great and large breakfast every morning on the porch, served by the host at the time of your wish. Spectacular views of the valley and great place to start your tracks both ways in Ella. Upon request, we had wonderful a Sri Lanka dinner. Perfect place about 4 min drive from Ella centre (not it Ella, but really in a walking distance) - the initial drive up hill from main road is quite steep, but do not get scared of it. Not many monkeys around - probably thanks to friendly guarding dogs, which however might steal your shoes, if you leave them on the floor. :)

The position overlooking the valley was so beautiful, not far from the village. Staff was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious. Beds were comfortable

The accommodation is set in a beautiful position overlooking the Ella valley and across to Adam’s Peak. The views are stunning. The breakfast was incredible. The hosts very friendly. I would recommend. We tried to stop an addition night but sadly fully booked.

This place is wonderful! The room is spacious and the hosts are amazing..so kind and always ready to help with anything. Waking up every morning to a stunning mountain view was truly a gift. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the centre, which is perfect to avoid the noise and crowds. It’s quiet and peaceful, and you can really connect with nature. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I’m so grateful for this stay and hope to come back again soon!

Could not ask for better views to wake up to or a better location to stay! We walked from here to Ella rock, the 9 arch bridge and little Adams peak with no issues. Also only a quick walk into Ella town. The breakfast is amazing and staff are so wonderful, would highly recommend to anyone staying in Ella!

“Perfect budget hotel”

Fantastic location, although the road to the accommodation has steep hills it’s a quick 10 minute walk down and a 800-1000LKR ride back if preferred. Hosts were amazing & made our group a lovely breakfast each day and helped organise rides to local waterfalls and temples. Price paid is exactly what you would expect and they even prepared a birthday cake for my mother’s birthday! Added bonus: pet cats and dog 🥹

Our stay with this wonderful host was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with fresh fruit and excellent coffee, which immediately made us feel at home. The host and his family are incredibly warm, kind, and hospitable – we truly felt more like friends than guests. Breakfast was outstanding – generous, varied, and prepared with great care and a touch of home. Every morning started with delicious food, fresh coffee, and a friendly smile from our host – the perfect way to begin the day. We especially want to thank them for their kindness and effort – they prepared a wonderful surprise for my wife’s birthday, something we will never forget. Such thoughtfulness and warmth truly show how much they care about their guests. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for genuine hospitality, comfort, and a personal touch.
