Hands down, one of the best Hostels Ive ever been in… myve even the best. I felt so alive, but in a tranquil way.

We had an incredible time here, easy 10/10. Very nice and helpful host. On the train tracks, incredible views and a great pool. Would definitely recommend

“Great escape from busy Ella”

This was the perfect place in the countryside outside of Ella! Although the dorms were slightly basic with a slight drain smell, this is not unusual for Sri Lanka, and the pool and views definitely made up for it! You’re a short walk from Ella town (about 20-30 mins) straight down the railway, but not in the busy town so you feel completely away from all the hustle and bustle. It’s extremely relaxing and honestly just the most beautiful place. They also offer free breakfast AND dinner which is a major win!

Kind and helpful host, magical setting with a view in Ella Rock. the centre of Ella can be reached through an easy 30 minutes walk. Great crowd in the hostel, I will definitely come back

The location of the hostel along the rail tracks is idyllic, it's a way out from town but perfect for a chill quiet stay in Ella, which for me was nicer than the town itself. It's also directly adjacent to the Ella Rock trailhead which was handy. Nice social vibe when I was there too

Such a great place, beautiful location which is a good starting point for a few hikes, namely Ella Rock at sunrise. Owner is very friendly

Very easy booking and check in process. Budget friendly place. Also lovely travellers passing by. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout. The hostel is located about 3km walk down the train track (very beautiful and flat) to Ella town. Easy access to Ella Rock trailhead. It’s about 20 minute Tuk-Tuk to Ella due to roads. Very beautiful none the less to sit and watch the trains by the pool. Facilities really good - spacious rooms, clean showers and toilets and the added bonus - a lovely pool to cool down! There’s also a very nice restaurant 5 minutes down the train track called River side cafe - also recommend.

Such a gem! An old bungalow converted into a hostel and surrounded by farms and nature. Super quiet at night, a great spot to recharge. Cheap laundry, amazing free vegan curry every night, and staff were great

Escapade was amazing. It’s very peaceful, surrounded by nature and beautiful views. The location is great, hidden away a bit, but a lovely walk on the train tracks away from the city. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and the staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast and diner is offered here which was super tasty!

Great location! Beautiful view with really helpful and genuine staff. The dinner every night was delicious! A 3km walk into the main area was very manageable but you gain all of the benefit of being in nature. Very close to Ella rock for sunrise/set as well! Couldn't recommend here more!

Peacefull, beautyful location, and staff is so nice. Free Dinner and breakfast, which was really good. Also really cheap. Cant recommend enough. Didnt like Ella town, but from this hostel you can experience the beautyfull nature around Ella.

Very scenic and relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. New pool was awesome.
