Excellent boutique hotel with 14 rooms and a large, quiet garden area with seating and fabulous views down the valley. It was a short walk into the main town which was great for a drink or food Rooms are decorated as train carriages which is quirky and beds are comfy and plenty of hot water for showers The restaurant food was very good and a wide selection on the à la carte menu and great value. Valentine’s Day was really well set up with balloons and a special 5 course set menu option which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times (special mention to Dinesh, Janith, Naveen, Priyahtha and Thakshiia) and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this for a special treat!

“Heartwarming stay in the heart of Ella!”
Beautiful hosts, gorgeous views and delicious dining. We were serenaded by a flautist to welcome us, upgraded to the honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi overlooking Ella Rock. We had a great dinner of Sri Lankan chicken curry and devilled prawns, with again, incredible music by the same talented flautist. The team were all lovely - especially Dinesh, Priyantha, Sanjeena & Janith. Thank you for your warm hospitality and for making our Ella experience so memorable.

The view is spectacular and it is in town, so no problem getting to bars and restaurants. Lovely well kept garden. Good food in the restaurant. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan curries.

“A beautiful, welcoming stay with stunning mountain views”
We were initially reluctant to travel to Ella due to the difficulties following Storm Ditwah, but we are so glad we decided to go. From the moment we arrived, we were exceptionally well looked after by Priyantha and Thakshila, who went above and beyond to take care of all our needs. One of the highlights was the hotel’s garden, where much of the fresh produce used in the cooking is grown. We were even lucky enough to try some rare fruits picked straight from the plants, which was a lovely and unique experience. The views are absolutely stunning, nestled between beautiful mountain peaks, and the location is perfect..peaceful yet just a short walk from local cafés and bars along the main street. A truly memorable stay and highly recommended.
