The view is absolutely stunning, our rooms was basic but clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the owners are very lovely. Only a short walk into Ella along the tracks, but out of the noise and crowds, perfect location.

Perfect location, only 10 minutes away from the city center. The guest-house is running by a lovely family, and the rooms have an amazing view by the nature and the waterfall.

Fabulous homestay just outside Ella. Just 2 rooms, both with large private balconies overlooking the most amazing views. Owners are really lovely and the breakfast, served on your balcony, was the best we've had so far in Sri Lanka.

Our stay at this homestay was truly wonderful. The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The room was comfortable with a very cozy bed, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and always available, which made us feel at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast – honestly one of the best we’ve ever had, delicious and beautifully prepared. The location is quiet and safe, perfect for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.

Great location along the Ella train tracks - bit hard to access on the steep narrow roads but worth the view so much! Also many sites to see are close by, within 10-15min of walk. Ella center, hiking routes, waterfalls etc

Very nice and spacious room with comfortabel beds, great shower and a big terrace with beautiful view. Town is only a short walk along the railway tracks. Breakfast was good and had variaty.

We stayed in a small but cozy private room with hot water and a welcoming atmosphere. The lovely hosts greeted us with tea and served a generous breakfast in the morning. The absolute highlight was the breathtaking view – true to the name! From our private terrace we could see Little Adam’s Peak on one side and a waterfall on the other. Below the terrace, our children loved watching the train pass by, excited for their own ride the next day. A warm, peaceful stay with unforgettable scenery.

View from the terrace was absolutely amazing!! Staff is so kind and helpful, we had breakfast on the terrace every morning, they helped us arrange the tuk tuk since the pick me application couldn’t find the location.

“Wonderful Stay with Excellent Hosts”

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were excellent—extremely friendly and hospitable throughout our visit. The location is very convenient, with Ella town just a 5-minute walk away via the railway track. It's about a 30–40 minute scenic walk to the Nine Arch Bridge along the same track, which we really enjoyed. After a fun night out in town, taking a tuk-tuk back was a great option when we felt a bit too tired to walk. The property is centrally located, making it easy to access all the main attractions. A special bonus was the beautiful view of the waterfall, especially from the top level—absolutely stunning even if it is at the distance! The house is near the railway track, and the occasional passing train was actually a charming and unique part of the experience.

Relax place 10 min walk from center on the railway road. Friendly host. Good bed and bathroom. Only strange that the toilet is after the shower. If you shower in the evening and need to go to the toilet you need to walk in the wet place and there is no ventilation.

Wonderful view of the waterfall and easy access to Ella rock hike via the train line in front of the house. Great little restaurant not far away (savory heaven). Takes about 15 minutes to get into town, worth getting a scooter

“Suitable adept for recommendation”

I personally liked the close proximity to the train tracks, which were literally a stone's throw from the accommodation. This also made it an easy trip to the city centre via them. Breakfast was sufficient to start the day.

“Not as expected”

The homestay is a little bit outside of the city close to the railway tracks, where it is a little bit calmer than in the city center. You can easily walk to the main road over the railway tracks within 10 min. The family was really nice and the breakfast was delicious!

Great place, we can only recommend to stay here. As many stated it is faster to reach than Google says, thanks to the possibility to walk next to the railway. The room was big and clean. The breakfast was the best we had and we even got bisquits and tea in the afternoon. Very nice family running the place!

Very comfy bed and clean room. A bit far away from the town but short distance by train tracks and okay price with tuk tuk. Spectacular views from the balcony and nice breakfast.
