Look was an amazing host who was so helpful with everything. He went above and beyond. The breakfast was better than amazing. The view was spectacular. It was away from the hustle and bustle and so quiet. Their family dog Fiona was gorgeous and very friendly

“We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend!”
We loved our stay here! It was our favourite place we stayed whilst in Sri Lanka. The whole family is incredibly welcoming, including their little dog Fiona. We had the most delicious meals for breakfast and dinner each day and enjoyed a cooking lesson too. Rooms were very comfortable and so quiet! We had a wonderful time here. Hoping to return soon.

This accommodation was fantastic! We had a lovely large room with a balcony and fantastic views. It was nice and quiet, hidden amongst the trees - very peaceful. And just an easy tuk tuk trip into town. The owner was amazing. He was so lovely and welcoming and always there to help us or answer any questions. We were served lovely breakfast every morning, and did a great cooking class!! We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back. :)

The host was very welcoming and kind! He will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. He carried our bags to and from our room, ordered us tuk tuks whenever we needed and they were there in under a minute. He organised a scooter for us too! We did a cooking class which was fantastic and super cheap too! Can’t fault this place!

Big nice room with nice views. 10 min drive from town. Best shower in Sri Lanka so far. They made us a sandwich to take on the early train.

“Friendly hosts, peaceful accomodation.”
Really friendly hosts. The brother helped was always friendly and stayed to chat at dinner, also helped organised the cheapest trips for us. The sister held a really nice cooking class. The mother cooked amazing dinner at a price that was too low so we insisted on paying more for it😅. Really peaceful place because it's on a hill away from the city centre.

“Comfortable, great value for money, best food in Sri Lanka so far!”
The owner and his sister were always very kind and extremely helpful. Dinner was provided and was amazingly good while also being extremely well priced (800 per person). The owner helped us arrange a Tuk to take us to Ella on our check-out and also to find take a bus on back to the accommodation when we visited Bandarawela one day. Although we did not take the cookery class, it seems quite popular and very often booked. If you are interested in learning authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, I would recommend it, based on the feedback from the people we saw take the class as well as the great quality and taste of our dinners during our stay.

“Lovely hosts, clean room, good breakfast:)”
The hosts are lovely. You can also do a cooking class there. I had a room to myself, including breakfast for a very good price. The room was also very clean. I loved that it was a bit outside of the very busy Ella but then its handy to also rent a scooter.

“Perfect and relaxing acomodation”
The owners (sister and brother) made our stay incredible in this beautiful place, they helped us a lot, including an amazing breakfast and welcome drinks. We were in the cabin taking a tea while we saw monkeys and squirrels, we recommend this place 100%. Thanks a lot for everything

“Super friendly hosts and lovely property”
This was the nicest stay I’ve been to so far on my Sri Lanka trip. The host and his family were super friendly, attentive and helpful. The sister gave us a lovely cooking class, the mother prepared excellent breakfast and dinner. The room was nice and had everything we needed. The best part about it was the balcony overlooking the mountains. My highlight were all the friendly animals running around in the garden that we were allowed to feed. Will definitely come back!

Very helpful and kind hosts, we were sick and they helped a lot to make us feel comfortable and arrange tuk-ruka, doctor visits and tests. The cooking class with Shashini was really great! Beautiful location in the forest surrounded by nature, look out for lots of animals and bird life!

“Amazing property”
Everything was amazing, the room, the deck, the view, the staff, the food, the wildlife. Couldnt reccomend this place more it was the perfect stay. Felt so catered for but not crowded.

The family that runs the homestay is the best, they are happy to help and give you a lot of advise. The tasty breakfast they prepare in the morning with the gorgeous views its the best way to start your day. Also, they have the sweetest doggy.
