The view! What else you can ask for? Incredible views from my room and it was a misty morning, so peaceful and Birds Eye view from the balcony! I definitely will rebook my stay here. Good wifi, helpful staffs, comfortable beds.

Ella’s best kept secret. A hidden gem with the most breathtaking view of the nine arch bridge. Net hammocks where you can get the most unreal photos of the famous Sri Lankan train. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Providing delicious breakfasts for only 5 usd ( £1.50 per person ) and always a tuktuk on hand to take you the 5 minute journey into town. We booked the family room for the extra space and the larger balcony with 2 hammocks. Would totally recommend, we loved our stay here.

Amazing view over the 9 arch bridge and very comfortable room! We happily enjoyed relaxing in the hammock watching the train pass! The owner is very lovely and helpful. The accommodation is out of the city center on a dirt road so slightly hard to get a tuktuk from the hotel. But the owner always arranged something for us so that was no problem.

It's true that the view from the apartment is spectacular. The room is equipped with all basic equipment that's essential: kettle, fridge plus TV if you need additional entertainment (well, we didn't 😉). The hosts are nice (but as long, as there are no issues to complain about). We were provided with really excellent picnic breakfast (because leaving early). And the female host was really friendly and trying to help. But...

Perfect place with amazing view!!! God for one night to chill with the bridge point

The hotel has only three rooms. Our room was quite spacious and included two double beds, a refrigerator, and a shelf-style wardrobe for luggage. The view from the room directly overlooks the Nine Arch Bridge, which you can also reach on foot. However, the hotel is quite far from the town center. Tuk-tuks are available, but the prices tend to be high. The road to the hotel is very difficult for vehicles; usually, you need to walk up to the main road to call a car. Relaxing in the hammocks in front of the room while watching the train pass by was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was a classic Sri Lankan breakfast. The room and bathroom were generally clean. However, after having breakfast at the tables in front of the room, the dishes were not cleared, and monkeys came and made a mess. I had to clean the area myself in the evening. Being more attentive in this regard would greatly improve the overall experience.

The room was clean and the staff were very attentive. Spending time in the hammock was very enjoyable. We were able to reach most places on foot. We left very happy. Thank you.

The host family was very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the view on the bridge was really nice. You could even see stars in the night from the rooftop. However the room / balcony was different than expected based on the pictures. Breakfast was exceptionally good and they even prepared coffee for us early in the morning.

The staff were so lovely, the most beautiful family

I really liked the view of the bridge. It is in a quiet location far from the city center. We had a clean and tidy room. The breakfast was plentiful. The accommodation provider was at our disposal for everything. A tuk-tuk driver was always available. Transfer to and from the next accommodation.

This place is absolutely worth it for the stunning view of the famous Nine Arches Bridge. We ate breakfast on our private balcony and watched the train trundle across the bridge in the morning, it was a real highlight.
