The property is amazingly beautiful, offering the perfect balance of nature and comfort. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to cater to every need. Location wise is just perfect on the mountainside yet just a short ride to tuk-tuk or just 15 minutes walk from the town. One of the highlights of our stay was the fun and interactive Sri Lankan cookery class, where we got the chance to learn and experience authentic local dishes. The morning yoga sessions were truly the best way to begin the day, surrounded by such peaceful and soothing nature. Missed the sound healing session because of short of time but next time definitely we will start with. This place is absolutely perfect for Yoga Retreats, allowing you to disconnect from the city hustle and fully embrace relaxation and wellness, You can enquire directly for their upcoming retreats. To top it all off, they serve a delicious breakfast that completes the experience beautifully. Already planned for the next visit.....

I like that we have a close connection to nature , wildlife! And our room was good! Stuff is friendly and very helpful! We called them all the time to help us with lizards, frogs and bugs

“Peaceful wooden cabins, Incredible jungle views🌳🌳”

Our expectations were low from the images, we booked the double room with Mountain View and it was much more beautiful and spacious then expected. The view is incredible, you really feel deep in the jungle when walking around 🥰 the highlight is their amazing breakfast with many options available! Both their Sri Lankan and western breakfast was fabulous! Something we loved was the laundry service! Very much needed when travelling and no other hotels provided this. Near to main town and waterfall!

The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived! The property is beautiful, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast every morning! We loved the morning yoga class especially.

A gorgeous property with amazing views from our balcony. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Communicated well with us and were flexible to our needs. Really enjoyed the yoga. We stayed 3 nights and got a change of sheets and towels also.

it’s very nicely located in the jungle. beautiful trees and jungle sounds and lots of monkey. the view from the jungle hut was amazing and the terrace of the room is huge and perfect for morning yoga. the staff is very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our night there a lot.

“Nature”

The stay was wonderful. We really loved Ella. The treehouse was great, and the view was absolutely mesmerizing—you can simply relax and enjoy the panorama. However, I think this place is overpriced considering that the bed is extremely uncomfortable—it feels like you’re sleeping in a hole. Not for longer stay. There was also an issue with ants, as they kept coming into the treehouse in large numbers. The toilet had a water leak as well, and the stairs in house are really dangerous especially if you need to go to the toilet at night 🐒😀 On the positive side, the staff were friendly and pleasant, and the food was interesting.

“Amazing lodge in the middle of the jungle.”

If you like the jungle, it is the place for you. We had a wonderful room with also a small living room and a big porch. The room was spacious, clean and decorated with nice objects around. The view was amazing. We woke up with the sunrise right in front of us. We did yoga in the morning and it was great. Both breakfast and dinner were very tasty.

The views from our room and the fact we felt like we were in the jungle itself was great! The spa outside, the lush forest and bird calls were all positive vibes.

Arana Eco Lodge is a short walk from the centre of Ella. Our room was super comfortable and we loved the balcony area and views. All the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

“Dreamy lodge in the jungle close to Ella”

Beautiful Lodge just outside of Ella. You are surrounded by nature and away from the busy town of Ella - something we very much appreciated. The lodge has the most amazing views, you can see wildlife from your bedroom, and the staff are wonderful. Regarding the food, by far the best breakfast we had during our entire trip in Sri Lanka! And since my friend turned 30 and we went on this trip to celebrate, the staff surprised her with a cake, so sweet!! We read before that a lot of people talked about the steps. Yes, there are steps, but easily doable and is part of the experience. You are in the jungle after all.
