Nestled within its own grounds on the banks of the River Lossie, The Mansion House is a peaceful getaway just a few minutes’ walk from the historical centre of Elgin. “Gorgeous Building, Comfy Bed & Plenty of Parking”
This was an exceptionally good looking building, lovely staff, good breakfast and a very comfy bed. The grounds are well kept with ample parking, the interior of the hotel is a bit tired but they are trying desperately to keep on top of it. Our bathroom was newly fitted and beautiful. I think you need to keep in context that things are a little worn when considering the nightly charge, you can't have everything! Plenty of restaurants near by.

“Idyllic retreat”
The grounds and building were stunning. The bedroom was clean and spacious with sitting area, table and a large TV. The sleigh bed was enormous, comfortable and we had a great sleep as heavy drapes blocked out the light. Great choice of breakfast and the breakfast staff couldn't do enough for you. They were fantastic. Ideally situated for sightseeing on the NE250. Train close by- so took a trip into Aberdeen too. Definitely recommend this place.

“A little Gem just off the trunk road”
Although we stayed in the lodge instead of the main building it was comfortable and well maintained . The breakfast service was exceptional and well done to the chefs and the serving staff.

Lovely helpful staff. On arrival receptionist realised one of our party had mobility issues and offered a ground floor room to avoid a climb upstairs. I think it was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Delicious! Beautiful building.
