“Like travelling back in time”
Very kind hosts in a perfectly furnished house. The car collection truly amazed us. During our trip, this was the place where we felt the best, and we also had the most delicious meals in Elgin here. Where exactly? The hosts will tell you. The atmosphere was wonderful — like traveling back in time — and it exceeded all our expectations. We wish them every success in the future.

“Top stay”
The house dates from the 1850's and has great period features but still has good modern touches. Pete, the owner, is great and very welcoming. Nothing is too much for him in order to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was outstanding with high quality ingredients. If ever we come back to the area, I would always check to see if Pete has a room available. I would recommend Kilmorie House to anyone. Great value for money.

“An exceptional beautiful and comfortable hotel with a wonderful host.”
Kilmorie House was the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in. Our host was extremely attentive and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable, memorable and enjoyable. The whole hotel was exquisitely furnished and our room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent.

“A gem of a hotel offering good value for money and a very comfortable stay”
The host Peter was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was impeccably clean with lovely decor. It was warm and cosy everywhere. The bed was very comfortable and refreshments were provided in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious with local produce all beautifully cooked. This was our second trip which speaks for itself.

“Perfect”
Location was perfect just 1 street off main road so acceptable and easy to find. Room was large clean and perfect. En suite was clean and everything you would need with large walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious

“I would use again gladly...and take others there...”
Peter was great, attentive without being over the top, and nothing was too much trouble. Room was massive with a sofa, desk, massive bed, loads of storage and sunny window seat. Only very minor thing I would comment on is the heating of the bedroom, as it's so big it took a little while to warm up, but once warm it was lovely. En-suite showeroom was clean, modern and toasty. Breakfast to order and super tasty....fresh bread daily too....good wifi....free parking with electric charging....

“Our Scottish trip”
Such a beautiful, warm, and inviting home. Peter, our host, was incredible from the moment we arrived. Our room had everything we needed and so comfortable. The ensuite! The breakfast was delicious and in a quaint breakfast room. Loved the three days we were there - didn't want to leave!

Wonderful stay at Kilmorie House Peter was an exceptional host. Our room was beautiful bed lovely and comfortable and facilities were great. The breakfast was amazing lots of choice both hot and cold. I can recommend the scrambled eggs !! Very close to the town centre, but in a lovely quiet road. We will definitely be back

“Would highly recommend - 5 minutes from town centre of Elgin”
Great value. Lovely room. Very clean. Great host and very good and healthy options at breakfast - alongside a good English breakfast ! Great location - good stopping off point for a number of local Castles and history - plus Trump Flying in! Parking good.
