It was probably just bad luck, but we had a cockroach in the ventilation system of our room (located on the 5th floor) and did not have very good communication with the night staff, who did not want to know anything about it. We left the day after we arrived.

“Good value from a cheap hotel”
Best thing was it was the last room available to be booked in Elche for the Nit de Foc. Room was clean but basic, we needed the aircon which was perfect. Plenty of safe parking nearby, and café for breakfast across the road. We had a good night's sleep. Don't really understand the 1 star reviews.

it was really dirty with red points (maybe blood??) and hairs on the mattresses. Usually I don’t care about mattresses but these are 25 years old, smelly and extremely uncomfortable.
