“An oasis of calm”

It was such an oasis, the beautiful palms, accommodation and really helpful staff. Even the washer & dryer near the pool was so helpful as we have 3 children.

The apartment was lovely. Very clean and beautiful grounds. Comfy beds and had everything we needed.

I did not end up staying at the Finca. The keys are held at a hotel near the airport. The taxi to get them was more than the cost of the stay. I was so disappointed as this is my ideal hotel. Small numbers & private. I would like to rebook with more notice so key arrangements could be simpler. I would urge the owners to install a key safe & fail safe self entry. The owner was very accommodating and released my booking with no charge. I was disappointed to miss staying here.

It was just okay, the place was clean

“A decent stay, but the constant noise and inconvenient key collection process not great”

We stayed in this apartment near the airport, which looked great in the photos and seemed ideal for a short stay before our flight. The apartment itself was okay — nothing spectacular. The beds were fine, but the living room could really use an armchair. When traveling with more than two people, it’s nice to have enough comfortable seating to relax and watch TV in the evening.

Overall process simple, clean apartment. Metal bars in front of windows. Minimum of necessary kitchen accessories are available. Good shower!

Perfectly proportioned self-contained apartment with outside shady patio and spacious grounds. Beautiful swimming pool area.

“Spotless Apartment!”

Apartment was spotless! Had everything you'd need for cooking, eating, etc. Staff in Hotel Areca couldn't have been more helpful! They made check in such a smooth process and were so helpful with taxis.

Very well set out gardens and lovely pool with sun loungers. Very peaceful setting and spacious accommodation. Petrol station off next main roundabout heading back to the airport. Towels and basic kitchen facilities provided. Apartment seems newly finished. Table outside the apartment with chairs to sit and have a drink or just chill. There were planes going over but I didn't hear any road noise. Plenty of parking provided located inside a security gate.

We stayed in the 3 bed apartment which comprised of 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. Linen and towels were provided and shower gel. There was one shower room for the apartment. There was a small kitchen/living area with table and chairs and TV. The kitchen had everything you might need. There was a pool on site which was small but nice and there were seats and tables to sit outside and near the pool. The garden areas were lovely and the area in general was well kept. There was a shared bbq area. It was great value for money. It was a 10 minute drive to the city.

“A Place to relax and enjoy some quiet time”

We only spent one night there but I hope we will return next year! It is a lovely place. Clean, new, comfortable. You do need a car as there is nothing around. Beds are super comfy, sheets and towels were new. Yes you can hear the airplanes flying over constantly (not at night though), but it’s not something that bothered us…

“Airline Resort”

We got an upgrade, from 2 bedrooms to 3 :-), so we enjoyed plenty of space. The apartment is part of "resort" which offers about 10 accommodations, it belongs to another hotel where you have to make the check-in and out (5 minutes drive). The only bad point is the location, just in line with the runway of Alicante airport and there's a lot of evening flights (morning is ok).

The apartment was generally clean, but there was a strong, musty mold smell throughout. We had to sleep with the windows open, which led to mosquito-filled, restless nights. The beds were clean and looked nice, but the double bed is more like a large single—very tight for two people. The area is nice and the apartment is well-equipped, but overall the experience was unpleasant. Planes fly directly overhead, making it extremely noisy. Not recommended for anyone looking to relax.
