“It was everything we could’ve wanted and more than we could’ve wished for”

We loved everything. Parking is extremely limited in this area and the roads are very hectic so we didn’t make it to our originally booked hotel as we just couldn’t get there. They were very understanding. We booked this hotel because it had Parking about 10 minutes before we arrived and everything about this hotel Was just perfect. If we could rate it more than 5 out of five we would as it deserves more than 5 out of five the staff couldn’t do enough for you especially in the restaurant for the evening meal. I am a vegetarian and it’s quite difficult to get vegetarian evening meals so they made me an omelette And some other bits and pieces which was really kind of them. The food in the hotel is exceptional and really good value for money. All of the staff are exceptional. We were upgraded to a suite which was out of this world. They turned a disaster into a real success for us. It would be the only place I would book again when we come back to this area.

The room was huge and well equipped (free upgrade), especially I liked the bathroom which was a combination of shower/ turkish hamam. Breakfast was served on the top floor, it was good and with a beautiful view. Internet worked fine. The hotel centrally located, city's bazaar just outside the hotel. Free parking was very convenient.

Central location right in the heart of the city. Short Walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops. The room was clean, towels and toiletries supplied - air conditioning was a blessing!!

“Very central for Elaziğ”

Nicely laid out rooms. Very comfortable to sit with nice big windows. Bathroom very good with strong shower as well. Location is excellent right by the bazaar. Air conditioning worked well.

“Wonderful nice staff and central location.”

The location is just 15 minutes away from the airport. we arrived late, but they helped us by giving us by surprise the wonderful and big suite. The staff is very helpful and breakfast from top of the hotel gives a beautiful view over the city and mountain. In just a 200 meters from the hotel there is a bazaar with great smelling herbs and sweets. I would recommend to take a taxi to Harput Castle, it’s 20 minutes. The water dam is almost 1 hour, with the taxi it’s gonna cost you just 700/800 TL. Conclusion; do not only use Elazig Airport as a stop over, but stay at least two nights in the New Marathon Hotel and enjoy the staff and the city.

very nice people at the reception desk, they gave me a very big room on a high level as I wished for, very comfortable bed, thick blanket, cosy pillows, a lot of space in the bathroom, water pressure in the shower is great, and water gets immediately hot, breakfast room on the 8th floor with generous space and fantastic view to the sunrise and parts of the city, I was very happy and satisfied with the choice and taste of food at the Turkish buffet, I loved all the cheese and the Turkish way of scrambled eggs especially, super location in the Centre nearby the bazaar, the mosques and the shopping opportunities
