A lovely property, really cozy, with character and flair. The location is great, Elatochori is full of nature and tranquility. The resort is divided into theme-specific rooms, and a lot of care and attention to detail has been given. Everything was spotless, clean and the beds super comfy. Bravo to Vanessa and her family!

“Great hotel & host in beautiful nature area (less touristy version of Mount Olympus)”

Beautiful hotel in small village with great nature, peace and quite. Previously we went to Litochoro (Mount Olympus) but we wanted more time in the mountains ans got recommended this place. We think it was equally beautiful, but less touristy, and more authentic. So if you love nature, would definitely stop by. Our host really made us feel at home. We got great tips for activities in the area (drinks, restaurants, hikes, waterfall), and also our room was upgraded for free due to availability. We only had one day, but would love to come back here.

we liked everything about Vaela, nice athmosphere, very clean rooms, very good breakfast and a nice owner always willing to help and guide us for the best places.

We've booked this room in a rush because we couldn't find that many in this area and we were lucky enough to discover a gem. For the price range this has to be the best room I have stayed. It was spacious, it had a bathtub, it was beautifully decorated and it had a view. I was so impressed that I asked the host if it was possible to check the other rooms. The host was kind enough to give me a tour of all not booked rooms. Some were big, some small, some had multiple spaces, some not, some had view, one had a jacuzzi in the room(!), but all of them were very beautiful and cozy. There's definitely something there for everyone. Breakfast had a homemade touch, variety and was delicious. The reception area had place to hang around and enjoy a coffee or read a book. Don't forget to get a home-made souvenir or a pomegranate liqueur. Maybe both, why not? The village is very small but has a bar and places to eat. If you find out that many people are selling nuts in this village there's a reason for it. The nuts are very cheap and taste amazing. Get those nuts! The village is easily approachable by car, but mind you that when we traveled there there was no snow, so your mileage may vary. There is a ski resort 10 mins away from the hotel and lots of places to go for a hike.

The owner of the hotel was super warm and friendly. Room was exactly like in the pictures. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and even with some products locally made. Highly recommend!

We had a great time ! The rooms are just amazing, the breakfast is simply delicious (and very generous!) and we spent a wonderful afternoon at the spa. We surely recommend Vaela Hotel and the village of Elatochori which is a beautiful place in the middle of nature. Thanks again !

The breakfast was really good, prepared with local ingredients from the owner's garden! The place was really quiet and the view from the window of the room was amazing. I would definitely go there in winter.
