This was so cosy and quiet. Its the hospitality that really stands out here. We felt at home and so welcome thanks to the gentleman and lady running the hotel. No problem parking and only short drives to any locations you will need to see. Highly recommended 👌

“A welcoming, cosy and traditional hotel.”

The hotel was really traditional and cosy. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a large balcony and a great view of the mountains and the beginning of the Vikos gorge. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. The small village of Elati was pretty and a perfect place to spend a white Christmas. The location was handy for exploring the rest of the Zagori area.

Panos and Popy are the most wonderful hosts , we had an amazing time and for sure will come back soon we highly recommend the place the village the room the food Popi and Panos we love u!!

Amazing stay in a very special place in Zagori area. The owners took care of every detail and made you feel at home. Mr Panayiotis traveled us around the world with his stories! Enjoyed every moment there.Thank you!

Don’t expect this place will be of this typical ordinary accommodation. Absolutely not. Popi and Panos provide exceptional level of service, care, attention, they create this atmosphere where you simply feel their family member. No exaggeration. Popi knew I preferred brown bread, she just went down to the city and bought a special bread for me so I can enjoy these perfect breakfasts at fullest. Panos learnt I’ve got a scratch on my car and immediately fixed it. I’ve been traveling with my dog, and they took as good care of her as for me. The rooms are very authentic, high quality, retro style. Things they have inside took me some time to explore and kept bringing me back to these times when every item was made with hands and care. Accessibility is good, you will find the place easily. It has 2 restaurants just nearby with good food made of fresh ingredients. The place was great at summer time, and I’m quite sure it’ll be the same for any other season. I’m just super lucky to have found this place…

The location of the hotel was good and the view from the window at the Vikos Canyon was excellent. The hotel looks very cute from outside. The hotel owners are very chatty, so you may feel welcome.

Our stay at Shamrock Elati was unique, since we felt like we were in a family. It's a quiet, traditional hotel, with magnificent views and excellent hospitality from the owners. Breakfast from Ms. Popi is amazing but the same applies to every food/dessert produced by her kitchen. The next time we visit Zagorochoria, for sure we will stay at Shamrock Elati again.

The owners, Mrs Popi and Mr Panos, surely go the extra mile to make their guests feel like home. Breakfast is super delicious! Home made, by Mrs Popi herself. Fresh, local products used and a different variety of savoury and sweet delicacies every day! Spacious rooms, the greatest views of the gorge. What's more to ask!

“Best place I have visited so far”

This is the best place to stay near Ioannina! Clean and well made cozy rooms, with that distinct old style that makes you feel welcome. It's a old style hotel that survived ages and through out generations has changed hands during different occupations. That makes the place very special. The hosts were 2 amazing people that made you feel special to be in their hotel, and gave you a small taste of the real traditional Greek hospitality. They gave us directions and helpful tips for our visit but above all were a great company for those chill nights at their bar, telling stories and having fun. The breakfast was handmade and plenty, with a variety of foods for every hungry soul. The place has a parking spot Would definitely come again, and again!

Shamrock is in very smart central spot, if you want to explore the villages of Zagori (Ζαγοροχώρια). You can easily organize daily trips to different directions. The guesthouse combines various styles in a quiet interesting way. The manager/owner Mrs. Popi is a wonderful person and a great cook. A real jewel! Always smiling and always extreme helpful. A true symbol of the Hellenic hospitality. The bed was very comfortable and the night sleep was very relaxing. The central view to the mountains is breathtaking.

The breakfast was great with homemade pies and really good ingredients. The view from the room was fantastic.The room was sparkling clean with nice touches. I was kindly provided a hair dryer when asked for it.
