“Absolutamente perfecto”

This place is run with love, every single employee runs around to keep you hydrated, fed and happy, the owner and management work tirelessly to keep you happy, the food is amazing and its location is insane, so close to the beach, they have surf instructors who will give you helpful advice even if your not a client, I would seriously take any bad reviews with a pinch of salt, already booked up for another 4 weeks, the price is absolutely reasonable, don’t miss out on a top notch hotel in the heart of el Zonte. Can’t thank them enough for everything they did.

The place was under construction, with dirt and dust everywhere. When we booked we were sent an email about this, but the works were supposed to be over by the end of November, instead they were in full swing. My wife is allergic to dust so we couldn't stay there. We had to look for another place to stay.

They were doing building works and it was noisy and disruptive. I had an early taxi for the airport and they started hammering at 9pm at night 2 rooms from me - simply outrageous. I had to fight them to get them to stop which they did at 9:45pm!

Excellent location,facing a spectacular stretch of beach. Staff members,mostly young boys and girls,are helpful and charming. Wifi works fast. Beds are comfortable. Tasty food came in big but expensive prices.

“A local gem and true El Salvadorian style on the beach”

Great breakfasts, El Salvadorian style.

This was our third time at Olas Permanentes, but our first time staying there as guests in a room. We come every year and enjoy their excellent food and drink at the beach, but usually returned to San Salvador in the evening. This time, we decided to book a room and it was definitely worth it. The weather wasn't playing nice for us unfortunately, but it was great to be able to wake up and enjoy an amazing breakfast at such a beautiful beach location. Of course, being able to pay in Bitcoin is a huge plus.

The location was amazing. The restaurant was right in front of the beach.

Location is about as good as it gets, right next to the beach with a restaurant overlooking the shore. It's easy to organise surfing lessons, board hire, laundry e.t.c. Staff are very helpful. Restaurant food and drinks are good.

So, its the second time I have stayed during January in consecutive years.. Staff are so friendly and helpful, place is clean, location is great right on the beach, amazing sunsets, great food, bitcoin accepted, hopefully back again next year.

“A disaster.”

My friends and I were very eager to go here, when we arrived, we left our personal belongings in our rooms, asuming things were going to be safe there. Went to the beach and when we got back, all my cash had been stolen, I kindly asked the receptionist to look for the cameras and check who had been in our room and they didn't follow up nor showed concern regarding guests safety. My friends coming from London and Germany were afraid their room might get mugged as well because they had their passports there. It was a very dissapointing experience, I felt frustrated that no one would care, but at least I was lucky that my personal documents were not stolen. Definitely never going back NOR recommending this place until they become a safe and secure location.
