Lodge Cacao is the perfect place to stay, with beautiful views, inside of the jungle, surrounded by nature, including toucans, colibris and other animals. The cabins are cosy, comfy, clean and private. The staff is super nice and helpful as well. The entrance to Tayrona is a 3-minute-car drive away. I would absolutely 100% recommend it to anyone!

We stayed at Lodge Cacao in late June 2025. It's generally a nice hotel located at the main road, 10 min by bus away from both entrances to the Tayrona park. The noise from the road is not too bad as the hotel is located a bit up the hill. As all/most hotels in the area, there is only cold water coming from a shower without a shower head. Overall it appears that there was little to no maintenance done at this hotel in the past years. Everything feels a bit run down. And one advice: do not bother booking the room with the "private pool" - the pool is so small and shallow (and is obviously rarely cleaned) that it is not usable and therefore a waste of money. Yet, I think the prices are still appropriate for what you get. I would say, stay at this place if you get a good rate, but do not expect anything special.

We stayed here after doing Tayrona and it was perfect, very close to the park entrance, the staff were great, room was big and comfortable, and the dog and kitten were so so lovely

The staff were the friendliest EVER! They went above and beyond to make sure we knew how to get the best out of Tayrona and gave us tips about how to get the bus and the best beaches nearby too. We felt sad to say goodbye! Also the food was amazing, the best in the area and the kitten and dogs that live there were so friendly too. Loved this place ❤️

The location is close to the Tayrona Park ( thats the only good thing), however we could see a lot of hotels around the area where you can choose to stay. There was an amazing pizza place located closed by.

Absolutely beautiful, perfect for calming down, right in the nature, we loved it!

Beautiful views from the room, and private pool but the hot tub feature wasn't working. Right in the jungle. Easy access to el zaino entrance of tayrona national park - 5 mins on local bus that picks you up right from the entrance.

The room was nice and very clean. The best part was the bed was so comfortable and BIG. Since I wasn't feeling well this gave me comfort. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They were able to secure us car on very short notice to our next location in Palamino Beach. We ate at the hotel and the food was good. I would definitely stay here again!

Staff were very helpful, great social spaces with pool and lots of outdoor seating, very easy to access Tayrona
