Great place to stay. Staff was really sweet and helpful when my friend had a surfing accident. We felt really at peace here.

We had the most amazing time at Shanti. Everything was perfect. The penthouse was immaculate and clean and the aircon was so lovely and cold! The pool was perfect and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff were so kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast food cooked by Vanessa was 10/10!!! El Paradise!!! 🤙🤙🤙

The accomodation, the room, the pool, everything was so beautifull!! And extremely clean. The staff was incredibly nice and helpfull. I loved to stay here. They made a vegan breakfast. It was a nice and calm stay. I would 100% recommend it.

Luis and the ladies at breakfast are super super friendly and always there to help. The room looks quite new, the bed is comfortable! They also have drinking water there where you can just fill a glass/ bottle while relaxing at the pool. That was very convenient. You can also buy drinks & store it in the fridge in the kitchen.

Perfect facilities, amazing time by the pool, tasty breakfast, a lot of coffee, easy check in, beach towels, great location. Definitely the best stay in Guatemala!

“A real hidden gem”

What a gorgeous place! The pool is a real highlight and much needed in the heat of El Paredon after a sandy day at the beach. Luis and his team gave exceptional service, always with a smile. We were able to check in early and store our bags after check out. Every detail is attended too. Breakfast is delicious. And a well equipped kitchen for guests use. We spent more than we have on the rest of our trip but it was well worth it for a last couple of days in paradise. We wholeheartedly recommend you go!

Very friendly staff!, they even gave us some coconuts (mind you we asked and tipped them) The pool is daily cleaned and the rooms are in perfect condition. The rooms have AC which is a very big plus!

Shanti is a little haven of perfect tranquility and only a few meters from the beach. Our room was spacious, clean with thoughtful decor and accessories including some interesting books. I loved the individual paintings both inside and out. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. We arrived extremely early without warning and were offered breakfast immediately which was above and beyond but extremely thoughtful and much appreciated. They had our room ready for us within a few minutes so that we could enjoy our day around the pool. Mr Luis welcome was terrific and it was lovely to meet Manni the owner and share some of his abounding energy. We would highly recommend staying at Shanti and will certainly rebook next time we are back in El Paredon.

“Beautiful oasis, a must-stay!”

A complete oasis, beautiful garden and pool which are well designed and very spacious. Small number of rooms, so it feels very private and boutique. The rooms are also exceptional, so carefully considered and well-designed. Tasty breakfast included, plus space to cook if you want. 2 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We were able to organise surf lessons through the hotel which were also excellent. The manager is incredibly attentive and clearly passionate about surfing, yoga and the gorgeous place he has created. Come stay here!!

It was an incredible experience from start to finish. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities that made my stay comfortable. But what truly set it apart was the convenience of being able to step directly from my room into the pool. It felt like having my own private oasis right at my doorstep. The owner and staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests I had. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place was outstanding, every corner was impeccably maintained, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment throughout my stay. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations. The room with direct access to the pool was a luxurious touch that made my stay truly unforgettable.

I really enjoyed my stay at Shantis Surf Camp! The room as well as the garden and kitchen were very nice and clean. Also the the Hosts were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, I would definitely stay there again. :)

“A perfect oasis to work / chill / recharge”

Easily the best place I’ve stayed in Guatemala. The rooms are insanely beautiful and finished to a really high standard e.g the linen on the bed, the towels, the furniture and so on. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I need so a special shout out to Shanti, Luis, Natalie, Eli and Audi. This place really has everything you need whether you’re working remotely, on holiday or looking for a little bit of luxury. Make sure you make full use of the pool, the gym, the delicious breakfast in the morning and the ocean being 2 minutes away! Heaven on earth
