The property itself is lovely; the pool is great, the grounds are very well-maintained, and the food was delicious.

This place would be a 10/10 if not for the after party club next door blaring insanely loud music from about 8pm to 4am. I ended up leaving one night early (without a refund) because it was just too much. Other than that, facilities are nice, room is basic but good, and staff are super friendly. But if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, this place is not it…

The outdoor bathrooms and showers looking at the stars and the restaurant was good.

Amazing and attentive staff, with complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. Comfortable pool, plenty of seating and hammocks, and great proximity to the beach.

The hostel is very clean. Staff is super friendly. Location right on the beach and swimming Pool is very nice with these temperatures.

“Still one of the nicest places in El Paredon”

Still one of my favorite spots to stay in El Paredon. The lush green property right on the beach makes for a unique relaxing place to unwind and let the world go by. I stayed in one of the original beach cottages, which are truly special as you stay right on the beach. I used the shared bathroom facilities which were clean, and nice designed in an eco friendly theme. So no over the top luxury. The sitting and bar area around the pool is nice, and a great place to meet fellow travellers.

The location is great next to the ocean. The common areas are very nice and enjoyable: swimming pool, bar, restaurant. Our accommodations were great as well.

“Lost track of time in el Paredon Surf House.”

I loved everything about the location and our room. we booked a Double Room with Private Bathroom. The mattress was comfortable, the sofa and living room were comfy to spend the whole day at, we just opened the door of our room and we had a little terrace with a hanging mat and the ocean in front of us. We spend a whole week there doing nothing, reading, drinking, eating, bathing, kayaking. We truly loved our time and peace of mind in El Paredon Surf House. Delicious coffee every day, their food was also very good. I also took a surf class and rented the surf board for a day, I thought the price is reasonable and I had overall a great experience. The guys know what they are doing and after a couple sessions I was able to stand on the board. What a great experience!! Thanks to all the stuff for making our experience wonderful, we are certainly coming back.

“Spacious rooms next to the beach”

Located next to the beach. Spacious rooms that are beautiful decorated with your own hammock to chill. Outdoor shower with palmtree views. They opened the garden with knocking a few houses down - hopefully they don’t rebuild it. Refreshing pool.

Staff is welcoming and the surf instructors are good and easy going (surf spot is right in front of the hotel) - food is good and the atmosphere is nice
