People are pretty chill, there is free coffee in the morning and some sort of sweet bread. I liked the hammocks and the vegetation, which protected against the heat in the warm days. Another plus is that you have unlimited filtered water, so you don't need to buy water from the store.

“Such a great place to stay and relax”
Great place to stay, such a lovely tranquil setting just a short walk from the main street and beach. Nico was so kind and helpful and all the volunteers were so lovely. The place was so clean and we were made to feel very welcome. It was so easy just to chill in the hammocks all day.

“Paradise”
The most beautiful paradise. Just wow. The photos don't do it justice, such a gorgeous setting with lush greenery and a well kitted out open air kitchen. Plenty of hammocks and shade to escape the midday heat and perfectly located near the action but in quiet seclusion while being 5mins to the beach. Plus the host Niko is so lovely and kind. Wishing familia de Casa Austera the very best!

“What an amazing place”
Amazing place! Close enough to beach, restaurants and everything you need, while being secluded enough from the noise of bars and parties. A lush green space with a relaxing and chill vibe, awesome owners really caring for their visitors. 12/10 recommend :)

Amazing homely little hostel with super relaxed vibes. It has been so well equipped with every little detail- free tea, coffee, milk and seasoning for cooking, shampoo and conditioner in the showers, and every bed has a lamp, fan and plug. There’s even a workout area and a place to watch movies. It’s gorgeous and quaint and had so much space to relax. It’s really clean too and has recycling which is a rare bonus. Cesar, the volunteer, was an absolute superstar. I can’t recommend enough of you’re looking for a chilled vibe!

The place is actually "austera", simple but you have everything you need. It's a small and cozy hostel, the vibe reflects that of the owners, super cool and kind, happy to share. The commun kitchen is super equipped, they offer coffee in the morning, the bathrooms are clean with soap and shampoo. They also give you the towel. Nothing to add, highly recommended

Really nice, laid back Hostel with comfortable beds, plenty of hammocks and sofas, a big and well equipped kitchen, lovely volunteers who keep the place alive and clean and a cute cat strolling around. Yoga mats and boards are available. It’s easy to connect with other people and I loved the open design of the dorm room as well as all the plants providing a lot of needed shadow.

Super quiet, relaxed and family vibe hostel. Everyone is super friendly and its easy to connect and find new friends. Its one of the few places in Paredón where its super quiet during the nights. The kitchen is a dream to cook together and the whole place is super clean and tidy. Special heads up to the super cozy living room,to the super friendly volunteers and the owner.

“A very peaceful and lovely place”
The hostel is really lovely, we stayed there twice. It’s very small (around 10-12 people max) and quiet, not a noisy partly hostel :) It has a big shady garden and a fully equipped big kitchen. It was really a pleasure to stay there. The personnel is also lovely and kind. The place is very clean

“AMAZING”
Oh I liked this one!!! From the moment you arrive, it feels like home. A super easygoing, chill hostel! The staff was SUPER friendly, every morning you got fresh coffee and some coockies? ( don’t know exactly what is was, but it was good) The fact that there is no AC in the shared room really doesn’t matter, at night it’s a bit windy so it’s really ok! I definitely come back to this hostel! It’s one of the places you book for 2 nights but it might end up longer! 😁 so be aware of that! Thank you!
