The room was clean and the wifi was strong, also it's way quieter than in El Nido Town, but still has some restaurants, tours start at walking distance and it's close to Vanilla beach.

“Good value for money if you are bagpacker”
The bedroom and bathroom were large and clean. Coffee was available in the room with a kettle, which is not always the case.

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.”
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. The hotel is right next to the beach where island hopping tours start, and you can also book tours directly at the hotel, which is very convenient. It takes only 5–10 minutes by tricycle to get to El Nido town and costs about 100–150 pesos, so the location is quiet but still very close to everything. We had two rooms next to each other, both with balconies and small tables, which was perfect for sitting outside in the morning with coffee or in the evening. The rooms were clean, everything worked well, and you could ask for cleaning whenever you wanted, even every day. One room had a double bed, a kettle, a fridge, a large sink, toilet and shower. The second room had two single beds; it didn’t have a kettle or fridge, but we think a kettle could be requested if needed (we didn’t need one). The balcony view was of the mountains and partly the sea through palm trees. It was quiet and cozy (there were roosters in the morning, but they didn’t bother us at all). Breakfast could be ordered every day with several options to choose from, both European and Filipino. Overall, the stay was much better than we expected for the price.

“Good design, quiet, windows to the jungle and sea”
I had a freshly renowated room on the 3rd floor. It was high above jungles and 50 meters from the sea. This place of the beach is shallow and doesn't suit for swimming, but right there you can rent a kayak (500 peso) and go to really gorgeous beaches (like 7 Commandos) by yourself!

“The best value for money I’ve ever come across in the Philippines.”
Unbelievable value for money. Sea view, with AC, for €11. Amazing. Antonio even offered me free pizza as he was experimenting with new ideas. This place is a hidden gem. Perfect. Such friendly staff, and they booked me a mini bus to port Barton for 600php. It’s right on the beach within walking distance to scuba diving and great bars and restaurants.

The entrance to the hotel is quite hidden and goes through residential houses, which was a bit confusing and unusual. The water heater kept shutting off due to an error, and the water quality was very poor. Tiny ants were crawling all over the room, and the air conditioner barely cooled the space — it was only useful as a fan throughout the night. I also experienced several power outages during my stay. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely slow and unreliable. Overall, the experience was far from comfortable.

“Fine, but recommend staying closer to the town”
Loved that the beach was directly behind the property (can’t see from the room). Beds were fine, aircon works really well. Host offers tours at the same price as those in town, and breakfast for around 200 pesos

“The water smells too bad”
Pros: -Location is just a few metres from the Corong beach and restaurants -Staff is very friendly -Option to book boats rides and motorbikes with them -The bed is comfy Cons: -The water just smells so bad (like rotten eggs with iron), I wasn’t even washing my face with it, I used drinking water instead, it’s really disgusting. They say it’s due to dry season, but it’s not true as I’ve spoken to people living close to me and they’re not having these issues, so it’s definitely their tank. -The hotel is not finished, it’s just a few rooms and they took good pictures -Building site just next to the hotel (see photos) got woken up at night several times by trucks coming to load things Summary: I think it wasn’t worth the price. I understand we’re in the Philippines, but the room is old, the bathroom is quite bad, but still I wouldn’t mind that at all, but the water is just gross, I was having a one minute showers as I didn’t want to be exposed to that water, the white towels they provide go brown just after one use due to the water. I’m not fussy, but having a clean shower is just a must.
