Fab location, in the centre of town. The view from the bar/terrace is the best in town. Pool is small but nice to cool down in. All staff were lovely, good breakfast options.

We had a great stay at Sea Cocoon Hotel. The hotel was always very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also perfect to explore El Nido. One small suggestion: it would be amazing if the hotel could follow the example of some other hotels in the Philippines and leave water and a little food outside for the stray cats and dogs. It would make a beautiful difference for the local animals. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

We had a really great stay overall and would still rate this hotel 10/10. The hotel itself was very clean, the breakfasts were good, and all the staff except the reception team were very kind and helpful. The porter service was also excellent, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Unfortunately, we had a few unpleasant experiences with the reception that slightly ruined the otherwise amazing impression of this hotel. First, we asked the receptionist about a van transfer from El Nido to Port Barton and were told the price was 800 PHP. The next day, when we wanted to confirm and pay, the receptionist strangely asked us, “How much did I tell you yesterday?” We honestly answered 800 PHP, even though we knew cheaper vans were available outside the hotel. She confirmed the 800 PHP price again. However, during check-out, another receptionist suddenly told us we had to pay 850 PHP instead. Even though the same receptionist who originally quoted 800 PHP was standing there, she said nothing until directly asked, and only then admitted the agreed price was indeed 800 PHP. We also had a disappointing experience with the laundry service arranged through reception. We were charged for nearly 6 kg of laundry from two very small bags, which honestly seemed impossible. One of our travel backpacks weighed only 10 kg in total, and the laundry we gave was maybe one-third of that. Additionally, on one of the laundry notes, the original weight of 1.5 kg had been crossed out and changed to 3.5 kg. When we pointed this out, we were told it was “a mistake.” Unfortunately, at that point we had no choice but to pay. We would strongly recommend that guests personally check and weigh their laundry together with the reception staff to avoid misunderstandings. Despite these situations, we still had a wonderful stay overall and really liked the hotel. It’s just a shame that the reception experiences negatively affected what otherwise would have been a perfect experience.

It’s close to everything and 5 min walk to the beach. The view from the breakfast area is amazing. The services were really smooth and the staff were very accommodating and thought of everthing.

Central location. Night markets are literally out the front door. Beautiful view of the water from the restaurant. The restaurant is decent, best breakfast we had in the Phillipines. Also really close to other restaurants. The staff are all really lovely and helpful. Decor is quirky in a good way. Nice pool.

Location Rooftop Breakfast Friendly Service

We liked the view from the 6th floor. The breakfast had a good variety. I'm the middle of everything, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Friendly staff. We booked boat tours directly with the hotel the evening before. Wasn't a problem. Also booked our transportation to the airport atthe check-in counter. Overall beautiful 6 night stay.

“Fantastic staff, location and experience!”

Staff, Candy, Joey, Rico, Romy and Alice, in particular were exceptional. Attentive and friendly. The 6th floor sky deck is amazing for breakfast and drinks, it is so under utilised by guests, but the views a phenomenal! The hotel is almost centre of El Nido town, giving easy access to bezch or the main strip of tour operators, restaurants and bars.

Number one was the staff! Location was right for us. Close to everything but not right in the hustle bustle. The ‘Sky Cocoon’ rooftop bar and restaurant is a gem, that seems to be a big secret, views out over the bay and the drinks very well priced. Often had the place all to ourselves 👍🏼 The pool was the perfect place to cool off after a day trip or just to chill.

Very clean and well maintained hotel close to the departure point for El Nido boat tours. Good breakfast on the rooftop restaurant. Very friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable.
