room was too small, lacked customer service - didnt offer tricycle / van services despite having vehicles - location wasnt great - breakfast was cold - room was tiny, no hand held shower head - generally when comparing to other hotels we have stayed at during our travels this was worse for value of money - building works which commenced at 7am

“Raw and authentic stay, the pure cultural experience”
The hotel/our room and bathroom were super clean and it was very comfortable. We had a little balcony with green views. The breakfast area is open and green lush views too. Food is alright no big selection but ok. We loved the location as it is more in a raw and authentic neighbourhood, and that's what we tend to look for. With lots of local businesses, like restaurants (SUPER CHEAP ONES), local stores and laundry services just down the road. We did ours close by, from the small shop down the road - the lady was lovely and the clothes smelled AMAZING.

“Quiet location but average stay”
Location is great, out of town and very quiet. Staff is great, very friendly and kind. Breakfast is ok and the meal room is lovely with a nice view.

“Double check your booking”
We had booked, confirmed. The room was then cancelled for guests extending their stay. We were left with nowhere to stay. Had to last minute book accommodation which was not at all suitable. Very disappointing.

Honestly, nothing about the hotel itself stood out positively. The only pleasant aspect was the friendly cats around the area.

Quiet location 15 min walk from town. Good breakfast, reasonable Starlink WiFi. There is a small quiet beach and a few restaurants within a.couple of minutes walk. They also have a generator for the inevitable power cuts.

Its located just on the corner of a tropical forest, if you get a room on 1st or 2nd floor (above ground floor) you will have a view of it. Walking distance from town and in a quiet, calm neighbourhood close to the clean beach with a beautiful view (the main beach in El Nido serves only as a port for boats, and El Nido itself is loud and dusty) The breakfast was good, better than the pictures on booking. The staff was kind and helpful. The corridors were clean.

Nice little spot, outside the super busy town so it was nice and quiet in the evenings. Staff were very nice and helpful throughout. Was a short 10 minute walk to get into town.

“Amazing!”
We had one of the best stays of our travels here. Everything about this place made our experience truly special. The people made the biggest difference. The owner, Jef, and the entire team were incredibly kind and always ready to help and often one step ahead of what we needed. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and the walk from the beach to the hotel is simply magical, it feels like walking through a painting. We 100% recommend staying here and would gladly come back again. Thank you Layang Layang Team
