We had an amazing stay in El Nido with a stunning view, a spacious and clean room, a bright bathroom, and our own lovely outdoor area; the host was incredibly kind and gave great tips, we could borrow snorkel gear and a dry bag for canoeing (thanks to Armstrong’s recommendation), and it was the perfect peaceful spot on the hill surrounded by squirrels yet just minutes from the beach and town.

It was high up in the trees with a great view. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

I liked everything. The place has a stunning view. Owner is amazing - helpful. He can support you with the trips, scooter, transfer bus. The owner helped us with the luggage going up and down carrying it. The place is quiet and a bit from The centre yet its still close. The hike up is quite challenging but the view and place makes you forget about some effort you need to make to get there. I totally recommend the place! It was a amazing stay. One of the best when travelling around Philippines.

+ Great view from the hut. + Very friendly, responsive, and helpful host. + There are animals around (tokay geckos, squirrels, etc.). This might not be for everyone, but if you’re booking a place with “Camp” in the name, you’ll probably see this as a plus. + Walking distance to everything in El Nido.

Beautiful view and ideal location right near El Nido town but away from the busy-ness! Just be mindful that the stairs are no joke - but our host was very helpful and did offer to assist us with our bags should we have needed it.

Great accommodation with a fantastic view of El Nido. However, you have to be prepared to go up a steep staircase, but you will be rewarded with a great view and a great, clean accommodation, which also offers a nice veranda. Also the owner was very nice and helpful.

“Tranquil and homely stay in the heart of El Nido”

This is a gem of a place. Sign yourself up for the challenge of the stairs (manageable if you are able bodied and pace yourself) and you’ll be rewarded with the best stay in El Nido! Mr Armstrong is the nicest, kindest and most friendly person I met during my stay in the Philippines. He truly goes out of his way to take care of you and make sure you have a comfortable stay. His service alone is reason enough to book this place. He met me in Town Square to help me with my bags and escort me to the Camp, lent me a flashlight to navigate the stairs when El Nido was experiencing power outages due to a typhoon, booked my boat tours and walked me down to the tour office both mornings. He also booked my tricycle to the airport and helped me with my bags back down the hill to meet the driver - at 5am no less! He generously upgraded me to the Seaview room as I was the only guest on site due to the Typhoon. The cabin was very spacious with a king size bed, bathroom with shower and deck/balcony area. The view over El Nido beach is stunning. The room and bathroom were clean, the shower has hot water and decent enough water pressure. There are 2 fans in the room to keep you cool, and a mosquito net over the bed should you want to open the windows and let in the beautiful mountain breeze (necessary in a blackout!). The camp site does experience some blackouts especially with turbulent weather, but with my trusty flashlight I had no real issues with this. You won’t regret booking your stay at Camp Talusi!

“Beautiful bungalows with everything you need and great location”

The bungalows were really lovely, a good size with a nice spacious balcony, in the middle of the jungle. So close to the town centre of El Nido, yet the environment is very peaceful

The privacy and comfort of the room was amazing if you’re looking for something not directly in El Nido town. The host is such an amazing person and very helpful, he even helped carry my bag all the up the stairs and helped me book a island tour.

If you are reading this, dont doubt it for a second as this is the best place you can stay in the island. 135 steps up may seem too much but we always thought about it as the work out of the day haha. It really worths it as we were in the middle of the forest. Armstrong made our stay very easy and comfortable, and he helped us in every concern that we had about the island, renting a motorbike, tours, etc.

Amazing view and Mr. Armstrong,'the manager', is very kind to help (he cooked pancakes, was our guide etc). Thanks for that !! This place is in the center of El Nido, but high on the rock (150 steps). So more quiet and in the forest. I like that, not next to bars and etc. Beach is only 5 minutes walk so excellent. Book this place and you will not regret. Only thing is you can walk (coz of the 150 steps), so not disabled. If you can walk no problem, take your time to get up there and then it is not a problem.

Great location in nature (calm), beautiful view and 5 minutes walk from the center so very practical. The manager is very helpful if you need him. It’s better to call him when you arrive as the location is a bit hard to find.

This was the best accommodation of our entire trip:). The bungalov is located in a bush, that is great and the view is pretty. (Please note that there really are stairs). It is very peaceful place. Armstrong, the host, was most helpful. He helped is with trasport, trips, made us great breakfast. He has amazing personal approach and we felt like home. Thank you for a great stay!

“Awarding stay after all that sweating.”

Solitary location with only two bungalows. The feeling of achievement when you get up there in the difficult location with your backpack, walking all those stairs for the first time. Breakfast provided. The multi-talented host Mr. Armstrong has a very big heart.

“Lovely”

The host is very helpful. He's a very nice man and he's always there / a phone call away if you have questions or problems with the house. He arranged the tour for us and the motorcycle rent which was very helpful in going to Nacpan Beach. He also helped us in getting a van going to P. Princesa. As for the place, it isolated us from the noise and busy life of the town. It's a place to stay to get closer to nature.
