“Beautiful stay”

We had a wonderful 3 days in El Golfo staying at this beautiful complex. We had the self contained studio apartment. The room and facilities were perfect. There was an outstanding outside area where we could sit and watch the waves crashing and also visit the fabulous natural seawater pool that the apartments have their own gate to. We really loved our stay. We went out for dinner each night and had beautiful meals and drinks at the local restaurants that are a few minutes walk. Watched the sunsets. Amazing!! Thank you.

Location, village vibes, terrace is amazing, I loved this place

I had a pleasant stay overall — the location is great and the terrace was definitely the highlight. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming, and I appreciated their helpfulness. The only thing that wasn’t very convenient was the unlocking app. I noticed in other reviews that many guests had similar experiences. It worked, but it felt a bit unreliable and not as straightforward as using regular keys, which would probably make arrivals and daily access much smoother. Apart from that, the studio could benefit from a few improvements, such as better table and stools, and some additional hooks in the bathroom for storing personal items. These are small upgrades that could make the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a nice stay and I believe with a couple of adjustments, it could be excellent.

Location is just unbelievable, right next to the ocean shore. Daily sunset watching, first row seats. Walking distance to several restaurants, easy parking, good enough kitchen. Responsive host (via Whatsapp).

If you are looking for: quiet place with perfect view to the ocean, direct access to the ocean and in addition small pool, beautiful spots for breakfast, vine drinking etc. - it is a place for you! The apartment 'Manuel' we were in, is comfy for two, with view to the ocean and fully equipped kitchen (including delicious aceite de oliva, vinagre and local vine). Area is nicely covered from winds - you may really calm down, rest, read a book, meditate or just do noting looking and the waves. The host, Andres, is helpful and friendly. El Golfo village is a nice spot to visit the island.

absolutely superb!!! the location is amazing, like a dream, the sound of the waves at night, the salty breeze, the cozy traditional interiors...felt like being in a movie. yoga in the morning,then coffe on the terrace, just perfect!!

It was unique. The terrace was particularly good overlooking the sea. The communal sitting area was nice making up for the lack of ‘lounge’ in the apartment.Excellent info and communication with owners.

“Marvelous place to stay in El Golfo”

This is a very nice boutique hotel in an old renovated house right next to the ocean, build on the rocks. The renovation and decoration of the rooms was done with great taste by the owners. The whole place breathes charm and peace. Also the kitchen in the room not only provided in all the necesary kitchenware, the owners also had put together a welcoming food package with some snacks, olives, and even a bottle of local wine, so nice!!! The hotel has a great spaceous open air terrace where you can spend the whole day reading and relaxing in the sun. At low tide, you can descend from the terrace to the ocean, and enjoy a natural private swimming pool in the sea in between the rocks, this is soooo cool!!! Also the terrace is perfect to enjoy the magnificent sunset. The hotel is convenietly located to explore El Golfo and the nearby area of the National Park, however you do need a car to get there. Other then relaxing in El Golfo, enjoying the many great fish restaurants, and making beatiful hikes in the National Park, the place is quite remote, but for us this was perfect :-) We highly recommend this place and hope to get back ourselves one day...
