Overview
Set in El Cuyo, LunArena is a charmant hotel designed and built in the respect with nature, settled between ocean, lagoon and jungle. The 12 suites with view depending on the location: sea, lagoon, jungle or the common area with the small pool.All accommodations have a private bathroom and kitchen with basic utensils. The property has a restaurant with terrace where breakfast and dinners a la carte are served. The property offers direct access to the beach. It is located in El Cuyo, an authentic and charming fishermen village in Yucatán. The property is 2 hours away from Cancún Airport and amazing archeological site Chichén Itza, 3.5 hours from Mérida (Yucatán capital).

Located near the end of the village, the place was wonderfully peaceful. Beautiful beach within walking distance, and the ability to borrow umbrellas and chairs was a great bonus. Jungle view, comfortable bed, and tasty breakfast. Stable air conditioning and internet. The apartment was spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

“Wonderful beach hotel, can’t wait to come back!”
A lovely hotel right off the beach, super relaxed atmosphere and everything you need at hand. Staff is exceptional and will bring you food and drinks on the beach. They give beach chairs too. Quiet nights of high quality sleep. Breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset from the balcony (our room was on the third floor). Awesome kitesurfing spot.

“Paradise stay”
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at LunArena a lot! We stayed for 5 nights and wish we could've stayed longer. The staff is super friendly and always smiling. It's a 15-20 min walk to most restaurants and little shops, but in return, it gives a super quiet area and beautiful beach in a 2 min walk with almost nobody around. The room is big and very comfortable. We loved the hammock on the balcony to relax. There is a big fridge and furnish for if you want to buy some groceries.

Immaculate room that was cleaned everyday. Very spacious room with great bed, clean sheets and good aircon. We asked for a room with a fridge and they kindly moved us to a room with one albeit the room did not have such a nice view. Shower and bathroom were great. Hotel is quiet at the end of the beach road, about 1km walk to many restaurants. Beach access was private and chairs and shade provided, wonderful. Breakfast good choice of options but be patient as all come on Mexico time. Free beach towels for use on your trip.

“Just what my heart & soul needed - the staff, the room, the beach, the food, the view!”
The room was extremely comfortable, quiet, beautiful Jungle view with sunset & hammock every night ( I was on the 3rd floor). I had initially checked in for 2 nights and immediately extended my stay by 4 more nights upon arrival because it was so fantastic, as was the beach!

“beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of nature.”
Room with floating bed, small kitchenette with fridge. Terrace overlooking the sea and jungle. Great for relaxing in the hammock. Breakfast included. There was a choice of omelets, pancakes or granola with yoghurt and fruit. Coffee and Tea. staff very friendly. few minutes to the beach. Very good for Kite Surfing. 15 min. walk to a nice cafe with vegan and gluten free options. The people in the village very friendly, they always say hello.

The location was nice and the breakfast was tasty. We stayed two nights and took a trip from here to the Rio Lagartos.
