“Beautiful design but lacking in so many respects”

Great minimalist design inside with polished concrete throughout and a stunning rooftop terrace with bar, pool and 360 views on the ocean and lagoon. Magical place for sunsets.

Simple, airy, light. Lovely staff. They demonstrated flexibility with our booking dates which we appreciated. The rooftop is a lovely spot. The beach minutes away.

“Great stay in El Cuyo”

The location is great, just 100m or so from the beach. The room size is generous and interior design is superb. Staff is friendly and helpful. And finally, the breakfast with a wonderful view.

“A quiet retreat”

The hotel is a funky modern design. Lovely bedroom with a large comfy bed and pillows. Great rooftop terrace with views over to the sea and lagoon. We walked down to the beach and ordered lunch and drinks from the sister hotel on the beach and had it served to us under a shade, beach chairs and table provided. All very low key. The beach was very natural and wild, don't expect pristine clean white sand. The waves were quite high so swimming in the sea wasn't possible

Even tho it's not directly on the beach we could use chairs and sun shade from sister hotel close by

“Amazing stay!”

We had an amazing stay @ Dos Mares. Rooms are lovely decorated, spotless clean and comfortable. Hotel is located next to beautifully beach and jungle.. both fab for long walks in nature..short stroll to town where you find nice local restaurants and cafes..all essentials as well. The breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our time in El Cuyo and our cosy base in Dos Mares. Thank you for having us :)

This place is perfect for those who want to get away from it all. Super clean, great staff, excellent food (though a bit on the pricey side), and steps from the beach. Lots of great places to eat nearby as well. View from rooftop restaurant was stunning. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely room with a good large bed. We stayed with the room with lake view that had a super nice balcony with hammock. Staff are very friendly and always smiling.

The seaview from the window..more expensive but worth it. The rooftop breakfast area. Easy access to beach. El cuyo has not been over developed. So a great place to stay.

There is no safe in the room to keep your valuables safe. Two days after our stay, we discovered that 50 euros and 50 US dollars had been stolen from our wallet. Despite our immediate complaint to the hotel management, we received no response. If you don't want hotel staff to steal from you, don't stay there!

Comfortable and cozy hotel. Hotel staff, although not speaking English tried to facilitate and help as much as possible. We enjoyed our stay because it is near the easily accessible beach and has a beautiful view from the top.
