“Hard work from the owner makes this a very nice place to stay.”
This is a small hotel with unique spaces. I stayed in the ground floor which wasn’t the most expensive. Still it’s very good and clean and the breakfast is a quite custom made. I might say that staying a few days is better than one or two because you get used to the place. Don’t worry it doesn’t have air con . The fans and design of the rooms are good to suit off shore or on shore breeze. The hotel is very close to the beach also. The owners Make you feel at home and the guys who work here look happy and nourished.

Casa Mia is a wonderful place that really exceeded our expectations. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. A lot of thought has gone into the design and creating a relaxed blissful vibe perfect for unwinding and recharging the batteries. It is really well located on the edge of town and just steps from a beautiful quiet stretch of beach. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed a really lovely reasonably priced lunch one of the days too. Marco and his dedicated team of local staff have created something really special in Casa Mia. El Cuyo was our favourite place in Mexcio on our 3.5 week trip and we hope to return before long. We definitely plan to stay at Casa Mia again when we do!

“Nice place in a remote area - would stay there again.”
Great communication with the hotel manager and always smiling staff. The hotel is located at the end of the village - so you will get plenty of rest from the noise and tourists. We rented bikes because it was quite too far to walk, especially during the high humidity. So be prepared to have some sort of transport with you or walk some distances. Also, get ready to be woken up to the rooster sound - such a rare and unique experience nowadays! Also there is beautiful, wide beach near the hotel and you can rent a paddle board from the reception.

“Absolute Bliss!”
We absolutely loved this quaint little hotel. The location is superb! Nestled away towards the end of the village, just a few steps from the beach it offers absolute tranquility. The staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious, nourishing and freshly prepared. Would stay here again anytime.

“Beachside kitesurf bliss!”
Casa Mia is located on a beautiful stretch of unspoiled beach, a short walk from the town. There are two wonderful housekeepers that take care of your breakfast, lunch and anything you need for your room. The town is amazing and has a surprisingly vibrant gastronomy scene for such a small, quaint seaside village. Nick takes care of the kite surf school and is knowledgeable and endlessly helpful. Marco and the place and is full of local knowledge. The day trips to the Punta are a must and we loved the sunset kayak tour.
