One of our favourite places during our Mexico trip. Carlos is very accommodating and always there to help, gave us tips and always went the extra mile to help. Nice common areas to use, everything was very clean and neat. Extra towels for beach and pool. Family friendly place Highly recommended!

“A beautiful stay in a relaxing beach town, but room for small improvements to the service.”

The location is great, quite area of town and next to the baseball field gives more space that other hotels had. The terrace area outside the upstairs bedrooms was nice and it was useful to have access to a kitchen. Air conditioning worked very well and unlike a lot of hotels we looked at in El Cuyo, the curtains were dark enough to keep the morning sun out and the bathroom had a proper door for privacy.

I loved my stay at Casa Cuyo, and was lucky enough to be the only guest! Carlos was kind and helpful even before I arrived, recommending the best SIM card to buy for the area. It was very clean, the pool is lovely, having a kitchen was a definite bonus. It's two blocks from the beach and about 10 minutes from the centre. Carlos also recommended a local guide, Jesús, I took two tours with him (kayaking and birdwatching tour) and cannot recommend them enough!!

Casa Cuyo was one of the best Hotels on our trip, comfortable room, good kitchen and wonderful garden. Also only 3 minutes to the beach and Carlos was really nice and helped us with anything! We would defenetly come back, thank you :)

Nice, clean and comfortable room. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Water refill container. Very good shared space. Super nice guy at the reception. WiFi was pretty good.

Nice stay in El Cuyo. We only stayed a couple of nights but made use of the communal kitchen which is a nice space. The room is simple but had all we needed.

Position, chilll area, good wifi, pool, AC, good vibes, outdoor lunch area fully isolate with mosquito net. Really nice and friendly staff are managing the place. They were always disponible for a speech or for any request we had.

“A comfort oasis!”

Casa Cuyo Hotel was more than I expected. It an oasis a bit further than the centre (8-10min roughly). However, I liked Exactly the far away from the busy area and very close to the beach. I enjoyed the coziness, the silence, the clean room, the space with wind down like the hammock outside of the room and the one in the courtyard. Also a lovely kitchen to be used by guests, if needed and a beautiful rooftop to see the sunset.

Owner was flexible with arrival/departure times. Nice location of the property.

Our stay was wonderful. We feel in love with Natalia, the beautiful receptionist. She was kind to everyone. We really enjoyed meeting many other people from around the world. Our children ages 3&7 love Casa Cuyo. We walked everywhere and the beach is only 1 min walk away. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.

It's a very nice and lovely calm place, good to relax. Very friendly owner and stuff. I liked the option of the shared kitchen and having breakfast or lunch done by ourselves. A shop with fresh fruits and veggies, restaurants and a beach is located in few minutes walking distance. The owner helped us to organise a Birthday cake and make a surprise, all restaurants recommended by him were very good. I recommend it, not only for kitesurfers :)

“If you want to relax away from everything - this is the place.”

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is really clean (I consider myself quite demanding in this regard). The kitchen was well equipped. Just keep in mind that the local shops are not that well supplied, so better arrive with some essentials if you want to cook. The hotel is not directly at the beach, but I think it is really not necessary since it is super close anyway. This is a super calm spot that is a little remote. So yes there might be some power outages (we had 2 during our 5 days stay for 1-2 hours), but no problem at all. The garden chill zone is great.

Great hotel. Cleaning everyday. King room with AC. Many small nice restaurants nearby. I stayed for 4 nights. El cuyo is very relaxing and friendly local vibe. Book a tour through the hotel. 5 cenote nearby is very unique and beautiful. Do not miss.
