Great location on the edge of town but close to everything. Room was perfect and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Can't fault it. It was a little pricey though, but worth it.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! It is also extremely close to the main trails in the area - I don't know that you can stay any closer! The room was a good size and even had brushes for boots after a day on the dusty trail. Walking poles were available for hire.

Location is best in the village, comfortable rooms, you can rent hiking poles and staff is really helpful. The best detail was that the staff checked the weather before our arrival and advised the bestvday to take ghe long hike. (Which was a different day that we would pick based on iphoe weather. Was really helpful)

Very close to Sendero FitzRoy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great onsite parking.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about different hikes and activities, the location is excellent near the start of a couple of main trails and the breakfast was quite good.

Everyone working there was so friendly!! You could feel they were truly enjoying working at the hotel. Great advice, recommendations. Possibility to rent equipment, order lunch boxes. Best location place : right next to the departure/arrival of the trekkings. Far from the noise of the main street but just close enough so you don't feel isolated.

Best location for hikking, can walk to all the best beginning of hike, workers help with idea to trek and recommendation, would stay there again if i was in El chalten

“A comfortable, well-located lodge with great service”

We had a wonderful stay at Pudu Lodge. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the start of the main hiking trails, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the showers — a welcome treat after long days of trekking. Breakfast was very good and offered a nice variety to start the day right. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. Overall, a great base for anyone visiting El Chaltén — we’d happily return!

“The only place to stay in El Chalten.”

Melina Falco!!!! What a superstar! At the last minute, the transport company (Martin Jofre - horrible, unprofessional slob) cancelled my return trip from El Chalten to El Calafate and Melina stepped in a fixed it at the last minute. What a legend. Actually, all the staff were really super. The place really feels like a "lodge" with a cozy feeling. Location was 1000% too.
