“Great stay in beautiful El Chalten”
Great stay in beautiful El Chalten. Mind you that everything in El Chalten (and for good reasons) is more expensive than the rest of the country. So if you see a comment on it, just ignore it … All in all, Latitud 49 is ran by a very kind and helpful host who seem to be available all the time. The walk to the bus station is just 5-10 mins, as well as the restaurants and supermarkets. Since it is a bit of Main Street you literally hear nothing during the night. Shower works well, bed is okay and you have all the equipment you need if you have the energy (after the walks) to cook yourself.

“Fabulous apartment in the middle of the town with a superb host”
1. The owner - Florencia. She is extremely hospitable and knowledgable about the area and the weather. She made excellent recommendations as to where to hike each day. 2. Lovely to have space and a kitchen where we could make some basics as well as a proper table and chairs. 3. Very comfortable bed and good shower.

“The best stay in all Patagonia”
Apartment really has everything you need for comfortable stay! In reality the apart looks better than on the photos. Fully equipped kitchen, even with food containers for storage and taking with you on the hikes. Central heating which you could regulate inside. Clean and fresh. Comfortable bed. Hot water. Friendly and helpful owner.

Clean, warm and comfortable apartments. Florencia is an amazing hostess, well versed in reading the weather forecast and giving information about the local trails. She has thought of every detail, from an extendable drying line in the shower, to small butter packets for cooking.
