Location is excellent, beds are comfortable, shower is great, heating in the room is a bonus and very friendly and helpful owner.

La Huella was very clean and excellently located close to the bus terminal. Despite our language barrier our host Antonio was extremely helpful and hospitable throughout. Overall a very pleasant stay

“Value for money”

The location is very good. Staying in El Chaltén is expensive, so La Huella is a fordable option (room with private bathroom). It is not luxurious, but offers you all you need for a couple of months. Comfortable and clean room, warm water and fine heating in the room. Antonio, the owner is a lovely man always willing to help! It’s just 250 m away from the bus station.

Location was perfect. The only value for the hotel.

Owner allows me to check in earlier. He speaks in Spanish only. But we can communicate with each other via translation apps. You can cook in the kitchen downstairs but I didn't try. Accommodation in El Chalten is not cheap. I'm travelling alone and carrying a luggage. La Huella is the nearest one to the bus terminal with cheaper price. The room is clean and big enough. Bathroom and toilet is OK.

The man was very kind and helpful. We were late arriving and the drive from El Calafate to El Chalten had no cell phone service so I couldn't let him know we were late. He was happy and waited for us to arrive, at almost 10pm! The bathroom was clean and the shower and beds were good. I would stay there again. The location was excellent, in the centre of town, and restaurants and a grocery store nearby. There was a small mirror in the bathroom. It would be helpful to have a mirror in the bedroom so it can be used at the same time the bathroom is being used

Very nice manager of the hotel. He was kind and carrying. Clean room. Hostel in the Main Area of the city close to the paths, restaurants, shops and bus station.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable and, for the price, the room was very economical. It was also located in a central position near to the bus station (Chalten is quite big and walking with heavy bags would be a nuisance) and good restaurants alongside supermarkets. I think the location is one of the best positions in the area.
