I couldn’t have had a warmer welcome and better stay . Santiago was amazing at making sure I made the best out of my stay with great recommendations for hiking , food and sharing stories about El Chalten. My room was perfect .

The staff were very accommodating(Guadalupe), good location in town. Breakfast was a great start to each day. Weather is displayed for planning purposes and there is some items that can be hired for trekking.

Nice position: close to both trek entrance and bus station, convenient for hikers to stay. Nice service: the day i checked who in charge is very helpful, offered all information i need when i got in the town (device renting, open restaurants, as well as the position and open hour of supermarket. They are useful because in winter the Google maps opening data might not working. With help you can find the right one more quickly.) (he also helps to provide reference about the route choice, pretty helpful.) Nice view and nice breakfast: when you have breakfast, the mountain can be seen from the window, the orange juicy and fruit sauce is pretty good, i like the fried eggs too. They provide a good opening for your hiking.) Pretty good bed mat! The mattress is so comfortable i felt good after one night sleep.

Staff makes the difference here. Super attentive, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay in El Chalten the best! Breakfast is very good too.

Great place and great people! We had all we needed and also a lot of support, good advice and always friendly attitude from the host.

Amazing place to stay in El Chalten! Highly recommended to everyone who is interested in combining comfort with a true hiking community atmosphere! Located at the center of El Chalten with a close proximity to all the stores and restaurants. Santiago the manager deserves a big shout-out for how well he performs his duties! You just can't beat how knowledgeable he was of all the trails, weather conditions and basically all the information you can possibly need while planning your time in and around El Chalten! Santiago was always super kind and willing to share his insights with fellow hikers. The rest of the team super helpful as well. You could tell how much the staff cares about hospitality overall - lots of great details like e.g.complimentary snacks or tea in hallways or a possibility to book a transfer to the beginning of some trails at a very affordable price. Although breakfasts could definitely be more varied, they were quite satisfactory as for the Argentinian standards (ham, cheese, yogurts, scrambled eggs etc.) Totally cool Fitz Roy view from the window!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Santiago, the owner, was the most helpful and knowledgeable host we had in Argentina, he was incredibly helpful for us to plan our 3 days in El Chaltén according to the weather. He recommended exactly the best hikes and activities at the right time. He also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and even for activities in El Calafate. They lent us sticks for our hikes. There was tea, coffee, fruit and cakes available and complimentary all day! Yummy banana bread and chocolate cake! This is the best place to stay in El Chaltén for sure. Cumbres Nevadas highly contributed to an unforgettable stay in El Chaltén.

We had a lovely night's stay. Santiago on the front desk was so helpful, the room was comfortable and wifi was good. It was a good breakfast and there was also 24/7 coffee (Nespresso - very nice!) and afternoon pastries (the dulce de leche ones were yum). We also appreciated the parking and were able to leave our car for the day while walking. We found El Chalten to be generally quite expensive like most of Patagonia but the helpfulness of the staff was worth the money.

Amazing hospitality with very high level of courtesy and service. Excellent location and wonderful and generous breakfast. The staff assisted us with every question we had and helped us make decisions on our treks according to the expected weather. It's clear that the hotel was recently renovated and everything looks really good, including the showers and toilets.
