Our stay at Hostería El Puma was fantastic from start to finish. The room was beautifully designed and decorated, combining comfort, chic, and a thoughtful attention to detail that made it feel both cozy and special. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and effortless, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying our time in the area. The staff were incredibly flexible and helpful throughout our stay. They were always available to assist with anything we needed and made us feel genuinely well taken care of. One of the highlights of staying here is the location—some the best trails start literally from the back garden, making it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding nature without even needing a car. The breakfast was excellent, and we especially loved that it was served every morning right in front of our room. It was a wonderful way to start the day while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Would choose this hotel again without any hesitation.

Lovely and warm and spacious room. We only tried the on-site restaurant on our final night but highly recommend this hidden gem!

We stayed in the deluxe suites and they were incredible. Very comfortable, strong showers, relaxing view with sofa made it very cosy for chilling after long hikes.

Beautiful decor- luxurious and cosy at the same time. The breakfast was also perfect and a must do before a long hike. Would definitely recommend.

“Great place to stay if you’re hiking in El Chalten!”

We recommend this Hosteria for everyone keen to hike and looking for a place to stay in El Chalten! The location was right off the Main Street, they had good tips about the hiking paths and a very nice restaurant with early (6:30am) breakfast so that you can start your hike early on. They also have a nice common area with a fireplace to chill after the hike.

breakfast was good with some fresh fruit and yogurts. The dinner was excellent - highly recommend and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Some previous comments mentioned that it was very expensive. Whilst it was on the high side we were very happy with our decision to stay and el puma.

really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are incredibly spacious, well kept, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection, and the staff were outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me with a major issue I had, showing genuine care and professionalism. A big thank you to the team , I’d happily stay here again.

Really cosy and clean rooms- we were in the superior suites and they were huge with a lovely private terrace. The breakfasts were really good and set you up well for a day of walking. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about hiking in the area.

The room was spacious, so is the bathroom. A little patio was a nice addition. There was Mate, coffee, tea in the room.

Staff were incredible, offering us sticks free of charge for our hike up fitzroy, did our washing for a great price within 24 hours. Bed was huge and ridiculously comfortable, loved the fact they gave you a free notepad and pencil with their logo. breakfast was fantastic, decor was stunning, place smelt unreal, great parking and location. Highly recommend! We didn't want to leave
