Close to start of the trails, quiet, access to a kitchen. Safe and friendly feeling.

This place is located at the far end of El Chalten which I did not mind as you had great views of the surrounding areas and easily walkable to the entrance of most hikes. Also, it was still within walking distance to many amenities. The bedroom had heating and the bed was comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and the fireplace is a nice touch.

Good location - right at the Laguna Torres entrance. Two big kitchens, lot's of space. Two bathrooms - almost never had to wait. Hot water was always available. Friendly and helpful owner. Pretty cat 😻

“Incredible stay in a wonderful hostel”

Really comfortable hostel! Always warm, cleaned to a high standard every day, two really well stocked kitchens that were never too busy as its only a small hostel, beds really comfortable, nice areas to chat to people, good location right by the Laguna Torre trailhead, great value for money, homely and comforting feel, would highly recommend!

Two very well equipped kitchens, kind and helpful staff, comfortable beds, friendly dogs, peaceful location close to the trailhead for Laguna Torre and Fitz Roy, cheap choripan place down the road.

Very clean hostel, the host was very nice and the ambient very quiet. The hostel is really close to the center and to the hiking areas.

I stayed in this hostel and in El Rancho. In the future, I would go to Hostel Luna Country any day of the week. Much more cosy, 2 really big kitchens (Rancho has 2 as well but with more than 2 people it's already crowded) and super friendly staff

Usually very quiet, the only noise you'd hear will be the occasional flushing or showering; kitchens are nice and easy to use; Very clean and the beds are comfortable; Shower is always hot

“Enjoyable stay”

The accomodation we were in is a great space for making meals and for resting. We felt very comfortable and the host was very helpful at answering our questions throughout our stay. The host was friendly throughout and their small dogs were excited to say hello each day. We liked the location, as it was also close to the hikes too and quiet at night.

Super clean, near the start of the Cerro Torre trail. Big room with towels and soap. We did the laundry here, perfectly done. 2 nice common kitchens. Very easy communication with the host wich was super nice.
