We liked our 3 nights here, the room was big enough for us and comfortable. For us breakfast was good enough, we brought extras like Salamie and tomatoes. 2 slices of nice bread and cake, scrambled eggs, sweet cornflakes, milk, oj, tea/coffee, jam and butter. It's nice to sit outside on the balcony on a sunny day, enjoy the views and relax. The shower is small but there is plenty of hot water.

“Clean and comfortable but expensive”
Room was clean, warm and comfortable The staff were super responsive and worked really hard to prepare breakfast and keep everything organised.

“Perfectly located quaint hotel with friendly hostess”
Very nice quaint hotel with good location. The hostess is very friendly and nice. The rooms are well equipped and bright. We were extra lucky to have a view over Fitz Roy.

Great location a walking distance to the Fitz Roy hike, restaurants, bars, shops cafes etc. Very friendly staff and breakfast was okay.

“Great place to stay in El Chalten”
I liked it very much. I even contrmplated staying one more night but would have cost me a lot to book new flights as I have a very tight schedule. The room was great- spacious and very rustic. It was warm, but not suffocating so I could sleep well. The bathroom was good too. It has warm water. They had towels and hand soap in the room. My overall check in experience was quick and good. The breakfast was good too- an egg, homemade bread with butter and cake with jam. All was sooo delicious..for real! Oh. They also have a kitchen but I stayed one night so did not get to use it. I am not sure why it has a rating of 7.9. I think they deserve a 10.

A very nice place to stay in El Chalten . The lady is very helpful and ready to give you all the info and support you need . You can leave your luaggage at the reception even if they have a late check in . The room was warm and clean and simple. We enjoyed our time there

A really good place to stay in el Chaltén! The most important factor to search for in el Chaltén is: good heating, hot water and confy beds. This place had it all perfectly! Plus, Guanaca Lodge is a really good place to get to know fellow travelers and hikers since the kitchen is shared! We met there locals and people from all over the world that were staying at Guanaca. The kitchen is small but has the basics. 10/10 for us! We loved the experience!
