“A home in the mountains”

The place feels like home. After a long hike every day it was so nice to go back there and relax. Spacious room, big bed, shower with good constant pressure and temperature. The location is good, less than 10 mins walk from the bus station and a few minutes from the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. Owners Claudia and her husband Jorge are very friendly and welcoming. She gave us a map of the town and trails and explained where everything was. Blackout curtains that help with sleeping during the short summer nights. Great WiFi.

“Perfect mountain setting”

Very close to centre but off the main road and very peaceful. Super clean and beautiful decor - felt like a rustic chalet, the perfect mountain setting. Staff were absolutely lovely.

Very nice owners, all information and help you need. El Chalten is expensive, but here you feel yourself at home

Very comfortable, big spacious rooms, with cosy lighting and a large bed. Also really lovely owners. We accidentally left our shampoo and conditioner and the owner offered to send it on the next bus to El Calafate (where we headed next!). Though we didn’t accept, this was such a nice offer and above and beyond!

“Perfect place to stay in El Chalten”

Absolutely loved this place! Breakfast was great, there was a fruit bowl every morning for every guest (not normal in Argentina). The owner is incredible friendly and there are always there if you need anything. Beds are super comfortable as well and as it is in a side street it is nice and quiet.

Helpful staff. Claudia took time to explain the different hiking routes etc. Checked in with me in the morning to ask how my day had been and what I was up to even if I didn't speak much Spanish and she not much English. Really great towels and a pretty big double room.

Lovely big room. Everything is new and everything works. Comfortable bed, amazing shower, mini fridge and nice touches with lighting. Great location. Quiet at night WiFi is a bit slow but always works, which is good for Chaltén. Above average breakfast, with proper bread, eggs, cheese and ham etc. Just missing oatmeal or something other than sugary kids' cereal. Claudia is super nice and helpful. Helped me store my luggage for 3 days while I went hiking, despite me not coming back there afterwards (if only... it was full)
