“Nice host but the property is old and basic”
The host is very friendly and proactive to provide the check-in information prior to the arrival. The property is cosy and old, but it is OK for the short stay.

“Excellent”
Guillermo is a very friendly and welcoming host. He kindly allowed us to store our luggage at his office before check‑in, helped with money exchange, and greeted us with delicious homemade cookies. The location is excellent—close to town yet quiet and peaceful—with the added convenience of free parking. The flat was cozy, well‑equipped, and had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this place again when visiting El Calafate.

“Comfortable stay near lake side”
Very kind and helpful host. Property is well kept and rooms are comfortable. Central heating works and temperature can be adjusted easily. Extra heater and blankets are provided too. Located away from the main busy street near to lake side but safe. One way taxi ride from bus terminal should set you back less than 10000 pesos. Pay cash to avoid surcharges. There are amenities nearby to get some supplies if needed. Starlink WiFi is great. Highly recommended.

“A beautiful stay and fantastic host”
This is a lovely place to stay. Super cosy and comes with all the amenities you need. Guillermo (the host) is lovely and even provided homemade complimentary cookies! Highly recommend staying here

“Enjoyable stay”
We appreciated the friendly reception by the host (also efficient communication in English via WhatsApp). The cookies his wife made for us as a welcome gift were delicious 😍 Location is good, a quiet two blocks off the main road where everything is happening. Studio very comfortable, good shower too.

“Good location, perfect space for our group of 3. Guillermo met us and answered all questions.”
Great location, perfect amount of space for our group of 3. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The sweet treat provided upon arrival was much appreciated. It was nice to have off street parking. The only issue we had was with shower drain - Guillermo said he’d check into it.

Very friendly and helpful host. Our renting car company left us without a car and he organized another car (including transport from el calafate airport to the rental company office) for us within minutes! Thank you again for your help and saving our patagonia holidays! As a welcome goodie his wife backed delicious brownies that we instantly ate. Muchas gracias por todo! :)

Beautiful place. Guillermo is an incredible host. Always ready to help and answer our queries. He even left us a delicious homemade welcome snack. He arranged an early check in, given that the rooms was ready so we could make the most of our stay and get to know around early. Everything is tidy and taken care of. The places honours its name, since it feels like home.
