Overview
Hotel Lar Aike is a boutique guest lodge situated in El Calafate. It offers far-reaching views across the dramatic Patagonian landscape. WiFi is free throughout the entire hotel. The carpeted bedrooms at Lar Aike are each uniquely-decorated and feature views. All guest rooms have a private bathroom, cable TV and a hair dryer. Guests can relax in the garden, on the sun terrace, or in the large communal living room which features a TV. It is a 10-minute walk to the centre of El Calafate which serves as a base for excursions into the famous Los Glaciares National Park. El Calafate Airport is 20 km away. Free car parking is available near the hotel.

Hotel was great close to the lake. Amenities provided were good .the staff were excellent and a shout out laudinha who went out of her way to assist in our evey need ..always smiling pleasant and helpful .the bed linen was pristine clean and crisp. The breakfast was adequate and sufficiently filling . There was no hot breakfast .but even the dining staff were extremely pleasant and helpful .I would recommend this hotel The hotel is on the main street however it is a 10 to 15 min walk from the cbd. Having a car made the stay even more memorable.adequate parking. Check in was easy and fast It was an alpine lodge and as one would expect of an alpine lodge has certain quirks

The location and the staff!! The view from the reception lounge is amazing and the staff (reception, breakfast and cleaning staff) are extremely service minded, friendly and helpful.
