Beautiful characterful hotel with friendly staff. Limited English spoken but it was never a problem. Breakfast included was excellent with lots of choice.

We booked this hotel quite late (about a week or so) - mainly on the basis of the location. Perfect. About 10 minutes walk into the town and an amazing view across Lago Argentina. The room was large with a great view and very comfortable.

They cancelled our reservation at short notice without giving a reason. Because we were travelling at the time with poor to no wifi access we had a difficult time rebooking elsewhere. Los Canelos did offer to find us somewhere else but then said they couldn't do it right away. Eventually we were able to rebook elsewhere ourselves - more expensive and much less convenient. Then at the last moment they told us they had rebooked us at a different hotel but when we checked with that hotel they were fully booked. So we stuck with the one we had booked ourselves. To add insult to injury they then reported us as not turning up at Los Canelos!! We never did receive an explanation from them.

Breakfast is perfect with a great selection of fruits, some hot food, cereals and the nicest bread I have had yet in Argentina. The lady at the front desk (I think she owns the place) cannot do enough to help. My room was quiet, great bed, beautiful view. I love the whole rustic lodge feel to the place. I loved it there. Nice place with great views and good food

The hotel was a short walk into the town centre with all its restaurants, bars and services. It had an open layout with outside sitting if weather permitted. The room was a good size with a good shower. There was parking outside.

The town centre around the corner, adequate breakfast. There's a view to the lake from some rooms.
