Had a great stay at the hostel. Very flexibel when we had to change our amount of nights we stayed and even got a free upgrade in room when he saw that we had so much luggage. Danny and his wife helped us a lot to figure out what can be done and seen in the area. We went on a day tour to Perito Moreno Glacier with Danny’s dad which was great and insightful!

The location is amazing, very central. It is a family owned business and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is good value for money.

“Very welcoming hosts”
Very welcoming, central location, comfortable and warm place, basic breakfast, Danny and Ely gave us great recommendations and help to organise transport and book glacier tour. We also used airport transfer which was with great price. Definitely recommended!

Excellent location, right near the supermarket and Main Street of shops and restaurants. There was a small amount of food provided for breakfast. Danny and his family were really lovely and also were able to take me to and from the airport for a fee. The bed was pretty comfortable as was the pillow.

“Great value for money and lovely, friendly owners and staff”
Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, very sufficient breakfast. I used the airport shuttle service which was competitive with the cost of a taxi and Danny, the driver (and hostel owner) gave me lots of good advice and information, as did Elli at reception - she talked me through the best excursions and sent me to a good nearby agency.

We really enjoyed the stay at Hostel Danny. Danny was extremely kind and arranged to both pick us up and drop us off at the bus station without expecting anything in return.

“Excellent hostel in El Calafate”
Fantastic, both Danny and Ely are super nice hosts, the hostel is well located very close to everything in El Calafate, breakfast is good, rooms are clean and spacious, there’s even an airport pick up/drop off for a reasonable price offered by Danny!
