Fantastic place to stay in El Calafate! It's a short walk up (or down) a hill to the center, and I liked that it was close to the bus terminal so I could walk. It's super-clean, comfortable, spacious, and has everything you need. I also liked that I didn't hear constantly barking dogs, like so many other places. I stayed in the remodeled trailer in the back, and it was very well done. Recommended.

The place is very clean, good condition and has a kitchen with all you need. Payment only in cash (ars or USD). The window I covered by putting the chair on the table with my jacket over the chair and the pillow on top ;)

“Comfy couple of nights without breaking the bank”
Great little unit for two with heating/cooling, kitchenette with kettle, mini oven and fridge, wifi and clean bathroom. Walking distance to the bus station and a nice stroll down the hill to the main shopping centre (~15 minutes). Gloria was very easy to reach via WhatsApp.

“Funky and functional cabin above town”
The cabin was funky and functional. The small kitchen had enough things to cook a simple meal (stove top is a bit slow). The shower was great the bed comfortable, fluffy white towels and clean. The cabin is in the backyard of a larger house. Tgere is an outside table and two chairs, but the yard is gravel. The location is good because it is quiet, but a 15 min walk downhill into town. Only 9 min walk to the bus station. A great panderia close by. The host was helpful, making suggestions for tours and hikes. Unfortunately, she sent the self check in information just when I arrived. Since I didn't have internet then, I didn't receive her message. So I phoned her and she arrived 8 minutes later to let me in.

It was great to be close to the bus station, popular restaurant, and laundries. The host was very accommodating, making it easy to enjoy my trip. The house is beautiful, and the room is very clean and warm.

“Perfectly in the middle of the bus station and City Center. A lot of restaurants on the street as well.”
Super cute container we stayed in. Really well furnished and made up, really enjoyed our stay! Had everything we needed and was very warm with the AC when needed.

“Loved it!”
Honestly, everything was great. The place looks really nice, really felt like a home. Had all kitchen equipment we needed; fridge, freezer, stove, watercooker, toaster, etc. Rooms were nice and the beds slept great as well. Good shower and bath. Was about 10 minutes walk to the center and also to the busstation, so I honestly thought the location was perfect. Including a nice little green garden which was also a plus. And Gisela really helped us with our questions about the area, visit to Perito Moreno, etc. Could not have wished for a better place to stay in El Calafate!

“Amazing house, facilities and hostess!”
I liked absolutely everything. Gisela is the best in hospitality and helpfulness, very competent and helped resolve many issues. She showed herself to be a very honest, responsible and kind person. A house is a dream, not a just house. If I'm lucky enough to come back, I'll stay at this place again! And I would like to take this opportunity to say again: thank you, Gisela!

We stayed in the house on the right (green house). The owner stayed with his kids in the house on the left (blue house). The house was very clean, everything went well and we got everything we need with some good recommendations. Thank you very much.
