Nice hotel with good rooms and facilities. Beautiful views from the rooms on the lake side. We had some nice dinners in the restaurant and the breakfast is good.

Beautiful views, pool facilities were excellent, staff were attentive. Breakfast has good variety of foods. Room was spacious. Trail run along the coast on the hotel doorstep. Shuttle service into the town provided by the hotel which was handy.

“Fantastic hotel with wonderful views”

The view of the lake is exceptional, if you can try to get a room facing the lake. Our room was enormous, with a very generous en-suite bathroom. Friendly staff. The restaurant was pretty good. We had drinks on the terrace which was great too.

“A Stunning Stay Outside El Calafate on the Shore of Lago Argentino”

Design Suites is a beautiful and modern hotel set outside the main town of El Calafate on the shore of the stunning Lago Argentino. The site, including heated pool and gym, some rooms and restaurant benefit from incredible views of the lake. The pool included sauna facilities, and our room featured a hydrotherapy bath - perfect for recovering post hikes in the area. The hotel includes a shuttle service into El Calafate town, but only operates at certain times of the day. The staff were helpful to organise a convenient taxi transfer service to El Calafate town or airport. Breakfast included a good selection of hot and cold items including pastries and fruit. The restaurant also offers a packed lunch service, perfect for day trips from El Calafate.

“An ok stay”

The view from the restaurant was simply lovely. What a view! Some of the rooms had stunning views over the lake. The carpark view less interesting.

Very nice location with great view onto lago argentina from the room. It’s nestled away in the “outskirts” of town but still easily accessible. The room was comfortable, so was the bed. The shower was great. The staff were very helpful. We also used the pool area. It was heated and had a good size. The breakfast was good.

We liked the view from the hotel. Diner was nice.

The view was nice. The staff was educated and nice. The room was modern and confortable. The breakfast time is very appropriate because starts very early. (6am)

The room was lovely, and the views were stunning. The shuttle bus in and out to the town was great. The croissants at breakfast were delicious.
