The staff (in particular Francisco) exceeded expectations. When our transport plans went awry, Francisco was a huge support. He stayed calm, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good and the location excellent. Just far enough away from town to avoid noise but only a few minutes walk away from good restaurants and bars.

I understand the Sauna not open after 9 pm, but also the bar? It was Xmas eve but I went there for the Sauna and the restaurant and didn’t experience any of those. Nice bed, but doesn’t justify the money

The staff were friendly and happy to help with any questions. The reception had a nice sitting area to relax when waiting for tours etc. The room was functional with a comfortable bed. Bedside tables had plugs with mobile phone access. The shower was powerful and not a big jump into the bath to use it.

The staff were extremely kind snd excellent; although we arrived at the hotel just before noon, they let us into our room. The breakfast was splendid, and the location is also superb.

Nice small spa area with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Staff very helpful arranging transfer to airport.

Location cleanliness

While not quite a boutique hotel, the Parque Hotel is a nice, small hotel with a mountain chalet look. It is wonderfully located close to the main (and maybe only...) commercial street of El Calafate and to the Laguna Nimez. While the structure might benefit from a little touch-up of the rooms, it is very clean and welcoming, with a great breakfast offer. The mountain-resort atmosphere is further enhanced by the nice, attentive and friendly staff.

it was exactly what we needed, a 4 stars hotel. Usually if you stay in calafate is for the experiences nearby so you dont spend a lot of time there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Calafate Parque Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable - the pillows were amazing, had such a great sleep the nights we stayed. The breakfast was very good, a great variety to choose from. The spa facilities were also great - especially the sauna after being out exploring all day!

For transfer to taxi from hotel three different answers were given by reception ranging from 36000ARS to 40000 ARS including commission of hotel! Actually by booking with condor taxi it costs only 25000ARS! I think 4 star hotel like this should review and answer to this for their other guests. Even electricity plugs in room were less 1-2
